I agree his 40 time is the biggest reason he’ll fall. But they gotta understand the tape don’t lie; he doesn’t have to be a home run hitter anyway.

Trey Benson is better, but Estime wouldn't be a bad pick.
I agree he is better but I just wanted to shine a light on some of these players not everyone is talking about. Everyone wants Benson,Brooks,Wright,Irving,Corum,Davis etc. I’m just bringing some fresh new prospects that will be available as well.

This guy is my pet cat for this Draft. I watched him play all year and was impressed by each game I saw. I was really shocked that the ran the 4:7 Forty because he plays really fast. I thought he’d be closer to 4:5 or even 4:4 but I still love the guy. I’m hearing the Cowboys are interested in Brooks as their #1 RB but they will still need a power Back to help out, so I think pairing the two would be perfect. Not only would we then have a high speed, zigzagging stud, but he’d be followed up by a BIG quick, powerful, hammering piston that clears out whatever side he runs to. And pairing the two should lengthen both careers.

The Cowboys are looking at Brooks the injured RB from Texas, they think he will be there in 3rd round due to his injury. He will miss most of this season and won't be ready to play until December or January. If he wasn't injured he would be a top 5 RB in this draft, but like I said December at the earliest that he would be ready.
I love this RB too be honest out of the top 5 backs he is the only 1 that I'm interested in for the Cowboys. Which can be good as he may not be the top interest of other teams. If it's be drafting I'm getting him in the 2nd as I don't think he'll be there in the bottom if 3rd. I don't understand how RB's are this underrated. Pretty much every Superbowl team has a good running game and to say a RB is a RB is not true. We need a guy that's going to make the defense think twice before tackling him. This is the guy here and i talked about him for several months. With O-line in 1st rd and Estime in the 2nd which is a guarantee great pick though some will say nah we can wait till later, i beg to differ as we suck with 2nd rd picks at times. Lets hope we get the guy. Plus the name alone Estime will sell jerseys
I’m banking that his 40 time will hurt his draft stock. If he ran a fast 40 I believe he would be up there w brooks, benson and wright as far as all the scouts would’ve seen him

That’s a great idea; I have two lbs already on my list in the late rounds. Since we acquired Kendricks and Overshown coming back from injury might push lb down for us in the draft. I’ll see what I can do about dt and receiver.
Chances are the Cowboys wont draft a RB in round 1, i would give even money that the Cowboys trade back in 1st round to get more draft picks. One trade rumor is trade 24th pick with Niners for their 31st pick and 3rd round 94th pick. Also projected is Cowboys draft a tackle out of Oklahoma Guyton, Oklahoma's RT last season and move him to LT in training camp. This kid is a good pick if they can get him, watching film on him, he has been well coached at the College level. This also could make him go higher than first thought, and he may not be available at 31 if the Cowboys do trade back. Should find out Thursday night what they will do. But 4 picks in the top 100 would be nice.

I honestly prefer Braelon Allen as our pick for RB, Estime is good don’t get me wrong. But, Allen is built similar to D Henry, I personally want a big bruising back.
I get you there’s nothing wrong with that. Allen is also the youngest rb coming out this year too so his youth is a huge upside because he has more time to develop than most older backs.
@@ChrisLonestarI wasn’t aware Braelon was the youngest as well !! I’m just not sold on some of these other RB’s. Brooks is all well & fine but I feel like the ACL is going to be of concern, then again look at Chubb. Dude tore both ACL’s & is a monster.

@@ChrisLonestar preach !!! Go get some big bodies for the trenches & get Allen to run behind that line. Play action pass & give Dak some help…send Cooks on some go/double move routes, CD on some dig routes & across the middle of the defense. Let Ferguson get busy in the short yardage crossing routes.
I predict ferg will have a career season and stamp himself as one of the best TEs in the league
My concern is they will draft Brooks out of Texas, who will not be ready to play until the end of the season. He had an ACL injury towards the end of the season. Enough of drafting damaged players. Jaylon Smith, Vander Esch, they do not work out for the long run. Draft a healthy RB and that's not the RB from Texas.
I agree we need to stop drafting players in the 2nd round with health/off the field issues

He’s probably the most likely Cowboys pick given his surgery was done by the cowboys surgeon so it could be just like the Jaylon Smith pick.

@ChrisLonestar after doing about 50 draft simulations I found that they should be able to get one of the top rb if the pull the trigger in the 3rd round... I consider him 1b. I want rb to be a priority.
Rb is a priority for the Cowboys. I project they will draft a rb in the first 3 rounds given the dire need of the position.

@@ChrisLonestar Ron Dane Wisconsin says other wise. We have seen tons of backs like him end up doing nothing in the NFL due to the speed of the game. If the oline was that of when we had Fredricks maybe. But it’s not
@@jett34 You have to understand no player is guaranteed not to be a bust. The draft is a prediction on players based on film,stats,combine and personality(interviews). Anyone you draft has a chance of being great or not panning out.
He ran a 4.58 at his pro day and his top speed was measured at 20.4, just a tenth of a second off from the Louisville RB who ran a 4.3 40. All of speed isn't captured by a 40 time. Watch this video for perspective on Estime
