This annoyed me , its supposed to be a rare encounter with a secret boss. Yet it always spawns in that spot and you can one shot it with the Kodiak. They really messed this up especially considering the competition. It should be random spawn.
I literally came across this by chance and was fully prepared to get massacred when I saw his leg over the threshold I thought no surely he will just move out of the way as I've had a few normal characters do that to me from time to time not sure if it's an evasion thing but yeah low and behold boom 1 shot ....this is only on normal difficulty so I'm hoping at higher difficulty the health of this boss far exceeds the kodiacs damage...but yeah definitely wasnt expecting this to work not trying to upset any die hard fans as I love the game but still they erm should moved him back one inch as using your vehicle is definitely not cheating I've used it as a battering ram from the start ha :/
@elijah mikle i think it was meant to be a mid game adventure where it could mow you down by then as it was a competition of sorts to see who could beat it but i think they under geared and under prepped its placement =/
On supreme jerk difficulty it has 11.7k health. Ramming it with the kodiak will take about half of it away for you. I haven't played the difficulty between normal & supreme jerk, but on normal difficulty ramming it will 1 shot the scorpion.
@@sofasupastargaming It's not that hard on supreme jerk if you have a ton of pets to help out too. I went in with the clone, the party bot, the toaster, both razorbacks, the badger, the bison, the 2 headed goat, and major tom cat. Only took me about 2 minutes to kill it, but that might be because my party was lv 30. Having a sniper build the sadomasochistic quirk & goat killer background & later teaching it the combat shooting book will make you do about 3k on a low crit and 12k on a high crit if you use the .50 cal that requires rank 9 in sniping. My crit chance is 112%
with nuka zooka and using motar skill i kill anything in the game in 1 hit. its kinda sad since using mortar doesnt use any ammo i usually start combat always with the mortar and just set everyone to ambush, since it doesnt matter. Just an idea of the damage that it does my character is about lvl23 and with a regular crit does 14,000 dmg. a mega crit does just under 30,000.
@@sofasupastargaming feel free i would like for the devs to patch out some of the stuff that makes the game to easy. make sure when you are trying to increase the damage numbers to the highest potential you get as much ranged weapon damage, explosive damage, and crit damage as possible (since they all scale). For example mine has about 1150-1600 base damage. Since the build is a one turn wonder, i just maxed int, awareness, and luck, then put some points into coordination and speed. Also for the skills make sure to get the explosives, mechanics, and survival.

Yes it's a competition. The first person to find it and send in a photo of the letter wins a piece of signed Wasteland art and all the collectors editions. Everyone else gets put into a draw for a chance to win the same. The draw is on Nov 30. Also being able to 1 shot the Scorpion with the Kodiak is getting patched out this week.
I am lv 7 and I fuck up, I expect to much into the dialogue skill and forgot to beef up my weapon skill, I am doing a mission on the Bizarre and all of the sudden I walk up to a big ass worm which had like 1689 hp my characters do jack shit damage but luckily my mechanic is doing fine tanks to the turrets, just when I was going to beat the worm 😉 the game froze, I love the game but I hate when the game kicks me out still I gave it a good score because even with glitches and a smaller budget than other big rpgs this game has done something the other "AAA games" haven't done aside from the witcher and that is make me forget about my boring lonely life in other words this is good shit.
@@sofasupastargaming I just wish they develop NG+ with something harder to kill, maybe some world bosses/or something, because main game seems too easy after halfpoint. It's major issue is that after you get really good items, you just don't have anything to fight them with, the only option being breaking game with f.e. destroying settlements.
not as far as im aware it really nerfs you if you dont have the requirements to be honest your probably better off with different armor until you hit em
see i really love this game but yeah its not quite as difficult as i presumed i found the normal scorpitron with its adds harder than the golden lil confusing
All of my footage is at the 2nd wasteland difficulty pretty much normal mode believe this would probably apply to higher difficulties aswell I try to make my guides viable in most difficulties

yup definitely a little harder but still quite easy even on supreme i think tbh if you have the nuke launcher aswell

Turn off auto save so it doesn't crash any more.

Thanks this was a great tip. However!!!!!, when I equip the badge on any of my characters, there is no change to my stats. Anyone else find this?
Hi I think the stats should change but the bars ie if you had awareness 7 would stay 7 but youd get awareness 8 stats on your character

I think on higher levels it's got some tough encounters it's just a shame the toughest encounters are kinda made invalid sometimes :/
