Ride to Lepakshi Temple and Gudibande | Bangalore Travel VLOG

Are you looking for a place to visit on a weekend from Bangalore? This video is definitely made for you. In this video, we will be exploring the beautiful village of Gudibande and Lepakshi.
The distance from Bangalore to Lepakshi is approximately 120 - 140 Kilometers. The roads are great all the way till the destination and so you will enjoy the ride. The Route we took in this ride is also of the same length. But riding through Gudibande offers much a more scenic experience with curvy roads surrounded by beautiful hills and lakes.
Lepakshi is famous for its 480-year-old Veerabhadra Swamy Temple. This place is a perfect treat for those who love to travel on weekends. Not only does this temple house several attractions but, it also has deep historical importance in Ramayana. The town of Lepakshi is also believed to be a center of trade during the Vijayanagara Empire.
To make this ride a complete package, we decided to add another place to this trip which is Gudibande. Though this place is quite familiar among a lot of Bangaloreans, it still remains a pretty unexplored location filled with hidden gems. In this VLOG we have visited a number of locations as listed below along with the Google Maps location.

Hi Rajesh, We did this ride on September 18 and there are no lockdown restrictions as such. We recommend you follow basic precautions (Social distancing, Mask, Santizers) and carry your own food instead of eating out. Apart from this, we did not face any challenge.
