Celine is the reason why Charice started singing at only 3 years old. She went through a lot as a child listening to her parents arguing and dealing with their separation. She found Music as an escape, and Celine was an inspiration. My heart will go on was the first song she learned to sing. She also grew up without her dad so her mom was her role model. She started to competing at talent shows to help her mom with income. Wow what a moment for Charice. She’s my favorite Filipino artist.

Since you guys have been interested in Charice and Sohyang lately. Back in 2007, before Charice was invited to The Oprah Winfrey Show and got worldwide famous from then on, she was first invited to a Korean variety show called "Star King". They managed to get Charice and Sohyang to preform "When you believe" there. It was pretty magical. I recommend you watch it either privately or react to it, up to you guys. I'm getting emotional when I watched the Golden moment of Charice when she was on top of world during those time. I always have goosebumps whenever I re watched Charice performance. For me she is still the best Filipina with that superb voice who reached the pinnacle of her career at that height. She accomplished so much for a very short period of time. Then after that Ellen contacted OPRAH to take care Charice then of course Ms. O did everything for her & guested Charice many times on her Show. Charice performed Whitney song, "I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU"...sang "NOTE TO GOD"...then released her first song "PYRAMID".

In my own experience though, the reason why she's so phenomenal its because when she sings I get the goosebumps and I never did have the goosies with music in my lifetime until I heard her sing. I still get the goosies especially when I hear her earlier performances. hahaha I'm not sure why but when she started singing I got the goosebumps while when I heard Celine I didn't get the goosebumps. She has always that weird effect on me. Her delivery at Korea's music program Star King episodes were also awesome and shows great confidence in just being herself, not trying to prove anything and just having fun! I think she met So Hyang in one of the episodes? Also fun fact, from what I remember she came third in a singing show in the Philippines called Little Big Star at the age of 13 years old in 2005. Back when Jake Zyrus was younger, he was on Star King with Super Junior and sang A Whole New World with Kyuhyun. It was the first tv appearance SuJu had after almost losing Kyu in a bad car accident, so when the camera pans to the rest of the members during the song, you'll see that Leeteuk had been crying. It was very emotional, and Jake and Kyu's voices sounded amazing together.
