Please be a different one because the Philippines expect a religious leader who they'll look up to lead them as Christ wanted; in poverty, humility, simplicity and genuine love for the poor. May the Filipino faithful look up to you who will stand for them when they become victims of the prevalent sexual abuses happening within the Church instead of the cover-ups.
It's very hard to understand God's mercy. We need compassion to know clearly mercy to understand the misery and sufferings of the poor. We need to become poor, at least in spirit to bring good news to the poor around us. God help us.
