In this video, deductions from Euler's theorem are discussed. Euler's theorem is applicable only for homogeneous functions u. If u, a function of x and y, is not homogeneous but its function, say F(u), is homogeneous, then these deductions give directly the value of some differential functions. Various examples are discussed in detail based on these deductions.
I have uploaded videos on nth order derivatives of functions (ax+b)^m, a^mx, log(ax+b), 1/(ax+b), sin(ax+b) and cos(ax+b).; Leibnitz's theorem, partial differentiation and homogeneous functions in the playlist "differential Calculus". I will also upload more videos on the topics of differential calculus in the same playlist.
