Hi. Thank you for your teaching along with all the pasters in Flatirons.
I have heard something recently that Gods chosen people are truth seekers. Thank you for your own self disclosure and sharing what you learned. Not only God's truth, but truth about yourself.
In my own searching of moral inventory, i have learned that i am not the loving person that i thought I was, lol. My lack of insight and ignorance made enemies of others too.
Just now, I learned that my good intentions on trying to help another were actually disrespectful and unkind. I had thought that trying to say something nicly was enough. I now understand a little more about worry about your own plank in your eye before trying to help others.
I had failed your teaching. I know respect is a part of love, but i have a lot more to learn. All I can do is to learn more at Flatiron and work on my own behaviors and thoughts. And pray for help in my self-awareness and how to love. As i try not to hurt others as i grow into my new heart.
