I heard this song in videos about Titanic, Britannic and Costa Concordia. I honestly don't know how it became so popular with ship disasters, but it is a beautiful song and I listen to it a lot!
My grandson was all about the Titanic knowing so many details about this tragic incident. He was 4 then. He likes and tries to sing this song. Now he's 5 and is into the Solar System. As with the Titanic he makes illustrations then uses them to explain about the topic. He will be excited to find out this song is dedicated to a solar eclipse. We visited in May and I would sing with him too. It's a beautiful song which for us is hard to sing but we love trying.I am learning the lyrics so when I return to visit in July we will sing the song again. Thank you for this video that we enjoy so much.
