I wish they continued this anime, it was really entertaining to watch. It left on a cliffhanger and seemed to be looking for another season but it just ended.
Coz it’s not your typical and generic isekai plot. Watched any other isekai that brings an entire army from earth to another world? Where inhabitants of that world went to earth and seen by the whole world? Where there’s an accurate depiction of what would world powers do if you invite inhabitants of another world to earth in your country? Exactly! None…. And that’s why the anime “Drifters” is top tier as well, only it’s not as popular as Gate… unfortunately
@@KRYUSEI1121 a concept alone does not make a show good, it´s all about execution, pacing, and writing quality the characters are mostly forgettable since it´s just the nice guy chick magnet mc and the stereotypical harem, and despite having a serious tone set at the start the show just derails into the usual harem routine it has comedy but it´s mostly repetitive and bland (kinda like Jujutsu and Log Horizon) military strategy for the fantasy world is non-existent, and the regular world is just japan, makes no sense the other countries have no interest in this gate to another world sorry for ranting, I have no issues with people liking this show, if you do that´s great, watch what you enjoy, I just don´t get how the show got so much attention when it came out
