Thank you, this video was one of the reason why I bought it no one else seems to have it. The hop is on the top receiver V2 is upgraded with better hop up which is Nice!
The tippmann is amazing I've had the gen 1 and now own the gen 2. Its the AK of the airsoft world due to how reliable and robust the internals are. Definitely MVP.
@@cbecks2051 The v2 has TDC out of the box which most V1 owners did it to their tippy for better hop. Personally didn't do the mod, and mine is still very straight, but I did swap out the nub for a better aftermarket one (also PDI barrel and bucking). V2 also has a reinforced rear receiver tab, as the V1's common failure point is those tabs that hold the gun together. There was a lot of warranty going on with that issue for the v1 owners who broke theirs. Basically, the V2 is an improved version of the v1 for common issues and failure points.
There are CO2 refillable capsules, those are rechargable like greengas magazines. and there are adapters, where you can load up co2 normal cartridges, and charge magazines with it. problem solved, those refillable CO2 capsules (on aliexpress for example i bought mine) fit perfectly in one of my co2 revolvers, those dont get discharged when taken out, they function like a greengas magazines.

P* are typically $300-500 for the engine alone. Plus you need a regulator. So you'll spend easily up to $600+ plus the fact that you'll need to be pretty knowledgeable on the internals. This! This, is awesome. Adjustable fps and rof, built in reg allowing for paint ballers to bring over their set ups easily, and the internals are easy maintenance. I'd say $400-$450 is a fair price. (Oh and you can use co2)
I did my first HPA conversion ever over this winter, I converted my RPK into HPA and damn... it’s turned into a monster now, i got it shooting around 30 rounds per second

Mike please... I'm desperate for part two. I am seriously considering this platform as my next airsoft purchase and would love your opinion on the HPA capabilities! Love the content and excitement for our hobby, thank you for being an airsoft ambassador!
Tippman makes stuff to last. they make some of the tanks for the paintball world. Their airsoft guns follow the same standard they have. including the spare parts and bits you'll need. For the price, it's awesome. If i could afford, I would. now if they only made it to run with a 13/300 or 13/4500 tank in the stock that would be sweet. i'm stuck with an old Classic Army G36C that's in need of heavy work.

DAMN YOU AIRSOFT MIKE!!!! watched this video the other day, and after some further researching, i have fallen to the darkside, and bought myself one of these Tippmanns. i had been looking for a decent gas rifle to use and replace my AEG M4... and this gives me the option to use CO2 at sites without HPA refill facilities... but my wallet is severely wounded now XD
little update. i fielded my Tippmann in HPA mode at Apocalypse Airsoft this weekend, and it was an absolute joy to shoot. i was running it with PTS EPM1 mags, as well as mounting an m320 grenade launcher to fire TAG rounds. cannot wait to get out and use it again, though i do need to refill my HPA bottle.. fortunately my local air rifle range is allowing people to get dive cylinder refills if you contact them ahead of time... @Airsoft Mike, it might be worth you trying the same with either your local dive shop or a local air rifle range to see if you can get your bottle filled and be able to make the part 2 vid on HPA
Mike if you plan to run this gun alot I would look at getting the PTC connector for the gun as it removes the slidecheck that can cause issues. Ive had my Tippmann M4 for about 3 years and they are awesome but I never use the CO2 option
Is this something I can take the barrel off and make it short like a honey badger? What about amplifiers can those be added? Also, how much is co2? Why can’t they be refilled?
I want the Tippman 22LR pistol. Just waiting for them to get back into stock at the gun stores. I would love to see a review on that, but would not hold my breath since you are in the UK and at best the 22LR rifle is all I could hope for.
This lockdown will go on for longer than they make out fella so might be worth you investing in a t-bar pump to fill it your self plus good exercise in this lockdown 😉👍🏼
Hello are these tippman still available on the market cause they are never heard of any more and to have the options is awesome. The thing I like the most is that you have a CO2 cartridge permag so that way every single mag you're putting in has a fresh can of CO2 where is if you have one that's just in the rifle then it's trying to divide itself between however many megs you put in it so you're getting a much more efficient and consistent shot-to-shot performance I definitely am interested in saving up for a system I've been on you know the fence of you know going with a gas gun and buying an HPA tap kit but to have the best of both worlds in one unit is so cool. So if it takes you to does it have the similar internals as a gas gun cuz if it does the buffer tube spring you can actually put a shim on that and create more resistance on the spring making a higher FPS or joule rating.
Now being so unique how is the reliability and the ability to find parts for it and how come their not that popular especially in Canada. Now in the world of paintball they were more predominant and were sold even at Canadian Tire stores so mid to low end paintball gun and now that airsoft is so much bigger now a days where are they and what is the pricing and the limits it can handle as in joules and fps also does it take a proprietary hop-up?.
When are you going to make a video about HPa on The tippmann. I want to buy one but I’m not sure if it’s a good idea. Are there a lot of troubles with this gun?
Doesn't this version come with a TDC? And don't you require a tournament lock body pin to take it onto the field? Also have they strengthened the body tabs on the new version as the old ones were prone to snapping.
Hey Mike, have you seen or heard of this one? Ares SOC SLR bullpup assault rifle AEG SOC-AR? If not, think Phased plasma rifle from the future scenes of Terminator 2!
Surprisingly, my v1 only needed PDI barrel + G&G green bucking + a 3d printed flat nub with a bigger surface to replace the original one. It shoots straight, so I decided to not install TDC anymore...
I liked this gun out of the box I had 1 very serious problem with it though, especially because it's 450 dollar price tag... It's all on the custom hop up, you will see on forums and such that it has potential.. but need custom mods ...and its limitations were quickly met with bbs over .25-28 range.. i pretty much gave up on the gun and got something else
i have another one with Co2...WELL do this too :) its in fact a hybrid...you can get Gas and Co2 mags for same replica...which is AMAZING its an AK74C and a cheap one !
NO, YOU ARE WRONG for your comment. If you bothered to read the video description and not be 2 whole years late to the video, you would see that your comment is useless! 🤣
If you buy a g5 from ghk from extemeairsoft.co.uk it will cost you around £300 and it's good quality :) mags are around 50 quid tho but you pay for quality with them. (G5 is light enough to bat someone to death with one hand )
You dont need them for this. I got the v1 tippman. It runs much better on HPA tanks anyway and is much cheaper. You can just use standard aeg mags. I use the pts mags but any other should work too. Its not at all picky on mags, will take pretty much anything.
