@Izumi Culture I actually disliked Mana more than Shara. Yes, Shara is boring, but Mana forced me to work on her farm and I just hated her right from the start of the game. Didn't even as much glancing at her. Mist is an airhead, yes, she offered Raguna and he willingly accepted, though a bit hesitant at first. Shara offered for Micah to stay at the sacred tree of her town till he had his memory back and told him to farm to earn money. But the way Mana "saved" Kyle never sit right with me. She just dragged this amnesiac and confused man to her farm (since it's mentioned the house was kinda her family's. Makes me wonder what should be done if Kyle just choose a different girl.), told Kyle to farm and Kyle was obviously hesitant. Her father acted as her henchman, constantly threatening Kyle for contradicting Mana and her response to that was *weak.* she could tell her father to leave but nooo she just went "father, that's enough." And then smile at Kyle and basically saying, "don't mind him" WELL GIRL! THE GIANT IS RIGHT BEHIND YOU, GLARING AT ME! How am I supposed to not MIND HIM?! And she outright said her motive. "Since we own a general store. It'll help us." And I can see how much the idea actually made Kyle uncomfortable and shifty. His attempts to refuse always met with Douglas' sharp rebuttal and Mana did nothing. It's like seeing an obvious good cop/bad cop performance with Mana forcing ideas to you and Douglas screaming at you for not agreeing. I almost slammed my head when she forced Kyle to buy her shitty hoe and watering pot. Wtf is this? I wanted to jump into the game and protect Kyle from her and her crazy father. The amnesiac man you forced to come with you and to farm for you only has 150G in his pocket and you forced him to give two-thirds of his money? I played RF3 first, I never had to pay for a damn thing at the start of the game. I got free tools from Shara, I'll never think of marrying her because she's boring but what a darling girl she is, AND a free sword from Gaius? Heck yeah. Yes, getting money at the start is very easy with the de Sainte-coquille's quests, but Mana's actions never sit well with me. Copy paste? I'd say Shara is 100% kinder than Mana.

omg, I cried so much in RF4. Forget EVERYBODY Venty is your one true love!!! Well I still fell head over heels for Dylas, but VENTUSWILLLLL The fight controls feel the same to me between RF3 and 4... They swap the main screen from bottom to top in RF4 though, so no touch screen! I think it's slightly easier to aim when farming in RF4 anyway... but I don't remember because I mainly play HM and made all my monsters farm for me long ago in RF4... So far the two biggest differences I see in RF4 are 1. no touchscreen, 2. BETTER 3D MODELS I laughed so hard when naming Micah Just get RF4 man, the story and interactions are incredibly charming
Tsunfish i actually played it last year and uggh, idk, it's Great and all but one feature Alone made me not Beat rf4 more than one time, and that's the town event mechanic, having to wait for Random events Just so you can marry and get the true ending is painfully tedious

I lost interest in 1 and 2, and after playing with 3's absolutely smooth control scheme, I tried picking 2 back up and found it abysmally clunky by comparison.

I play Rune Factory 3 while having this song playing on youtube on REPEAT. This song is by far my favorite opening and song that Rune Factory has ever released.
