I like how the bird can not only just drop a message, but also can indicate someone to pick it up or the message is for them.
I also want to see a 100% run, but that would take you 30 minutes longer to finish 1 chapter. And things scattered around the place, so you would probably engage in combat more or take you longer time to figure out how to not be seen.
A 100% playthough may be something I would relegate to a stream and took place over time because you are right! It would all take way longer!

Not yet! I got distracted trying to make a highly edited zomboid series for views. Since that didn't really pan out I'll be finishing last of us.
