My immediate thought: if you have both the inside cap and the outside cap with better access, why choose the inner blockable one instead of the outer, good access one? It wouldn't have affected you completing the early bonus, but would be a far better late game position.
@@michaelklog yea but in this particular game, there's no way he can lose the bonus fight, and you can tell that even from turn 0. i agree that in most other games it's harder to tell that.
So you missed purple rolling two 3-stacks of yellow turn 1 which could only mean that he was annoyed by yellow. That in turn must mean that purple cap was behind yellow. And that got confirmed the next turn when you saw yellow lose 5 hitting the purple cap and purple starting with 3 the next turn...

Cap location is important in the long game. With this spawn I was pretty confident I could make it a quick one so I wanted to secure the bonus over everything
I'd like to see this game option: 50%+ Dom Capitals: 3 in a four or five player game; 4 in a six player game. It's similar to that in RISK II, except you need 'your own cap and ??? number more', depending on the number of players, (8 max). Thoughts?

@ENemy_SHpotted i see, you didn't watch it. If you did, then you would see that multiple turns later, he attacked that same cap when it was only a 6, and by then, kylted generated a lot of troops. The chances of winning an 11v5 is 79%, so quite risky. And even if you do win it, there might not be many troops after the roll, you made a new enemy, and now you have 2 god positions to defend. Its just not that feasible, I think doubling down on his current position was the correct move, a bonus short term generates more than a cap. If the cap was on the other end of his own bonus i could maybe see that being a viable play

I rarely play Europe Advanced Prog Caps anymore, just Spaceport Sigma, Alkatraz and some Spaceship
