Well, prime skiing and paraskiing for this mountain is only a few weeks. Due to global warming, the time allowing these people during the "safest" time of the year shortens even more. I think they've had to cut down the legal safe time to 3 weeks? You've got risk-seekers to keep watch of and also filming crews for various movies amd documentaries. So yeah, I can fully believe this all happens at the same time because there are so many people on the mountain during this very short period of "safety"

The insurance didn't cover the Serpa. Serpa was not in the condition to climb down to base camp, he was alive but exhausted from the rescue.

Imagine if the guy with severe head trauma didn't have his helmet on!!! Even though we can see blood, he's lucky to be alive. I think......... The helmet overall, did its job. The impact would have killed him instantly without it. Keep making these videos. I'll learn more about foolish people and the angels that want to go and rescue them. if the snow outside my window is a foot, maybe two feet high, I'm not going out that day so this much snow is my worst nightmare and I'm very claustrophobic so I'd probably be in a state of panic if I fell into that narrow crevase. Like do you think he should solo descend, even if he still has suitable gear to do that with, that's just about the stupidest thing and most dangerous thing you can do, won't be anyone to call mountain rescue when he falls to the bottom like his friend.
