That’s the art of having jamming session. Actually, some Filipinos are used to do this, before karaoke, in remote areas, in a drinking session someone would play a guitar and everybody would sing like how Koreans play games while drinking or just after doing work the whole day, a simple jamming session would also occur. A simple enjoyment we Filipinos love to do, to relax a bit is to just sing.

Everyone in our family can sing and can sing really well,for us its just normal daily life routine...Its just maybe in every Filipinos blood that we love singing even at a very young age....singing and dancing is our past time...Just when i went to other country and someone hear me sing and told me that i have a very nice tone and voice,i even surprised about it,hhhh he told me that,"you Filipinos really people who can sing very very good'"..

I've always thought the singing culture in the Philippines was differentiated by the focus on the verb (singing) rather than on the noun (singer). People *will* sing whether they're good or not.

Bugoy Drilon already sung this song before during his Pinoy Dream Academy days, and even concerts and shows he sung this song. On the first verse of the song, he put his own twist to the song, and he sung it well than any covers I've heard. You can also react to him where he sung this song in a restaurant.

Not to downplay Bugoy's ability, but that ad-lib was straight out of one of Brian's live performances! Also, he's been performing that song for years now, so he definitely knows the piece a lot :) all of BuDaKhel have Brian McKnight as one of their biggest inspirations!
