Watch every goal, every save live on ABC, ESPN, ESPN+, ESPN Deportes, Prime Video, ION, Paramount+, CBS Sports Network, CBS and NWSL+ this season!
Yeah Morgan is clearly onside that’s crazy it wasn’t overturned
I agree it looks like she's onside. The camera angle sucks, but it makes me think that the offside may have been called on Dahlkemper, either for the ball (barely) touching her after being headed by Doniak, or possibly by interfering with an opponent by making a movement toward the ball after the cross.
@@johnmcgimpsey1825That’s probably it, but it’s too bad there’s no quick explanation from the ref because the commentators and all of us are kinda lost lol
Yeah, give her the goal. It's onside. Nice assist also.
Another tough loss for the wave. Morgan's goal should've counted. Come on ladies let's bounce back after the break!
Nice field.
If this is one of the most competitive leagues and they play in fields that are in so bad condition, I have no words.
The ball didn't bounce back when hit the ground fgs.
Loved the Girma and Soph moment at 3:42 ❤❤
For me, it's nice to see Smith doing , trying to do a chip over pass as a winger at 2:26.
thanks for this video from france!

13 out of 14. Not bad. Needed a better angle to show why Morgan's goal was called back. I assume Shaw was called offside when the flick-on header happened, but I am not sure if that is what the issue was. No idea why Portland's goal was reviewed.
100% goal for Morgan (and def. not a fan of her, and neutral towards SD). Bad refereeing.
yo wtf happend with Morgan goal.
pretty good job on the highlights. looked like a pretty exciting game regardless of the final score. thanks.
このダイジェストしか見てないけど、アメリカ女子おもしろいわ😄
個性が強くていいよねー😁
日本語実況や他の言語実況でやれば世界中で見られると思う。
As much as I root for all Northwest teams, I think the header to Morgan was onside. Sadly, not enough cameras to be sure.
thx 4 the good highlight vid
Morgan n1
Reyna Reyes plays for the Mexican national team. The graphic with the nationalities is incorrect.
20 minutes of decent play from PTFC, then back to launching 50/50 balls. Smith and Morgan on the pitch, zero goals in 80 minutes. Thorns need a coach.
❤
Alex Morgan 🌹⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽❤️🔥❤️🔥
I think that gol by Morgan was DEFINITELY onside. That referee is a bland idiot and he shoulda reviewed it on VAR. I also think the Throns could've definitely scored a few more goals if Sophia wasn't feeling lazy -- she was like non-active in this game.
VAR will have evaluated it, and evidently determined that there was no error. Camera angle sucks, but pure speculation: I wonder if instead of Morgan, the offside was called on Dahlkemper. When Doniak heads it, Dahlkemper is goal-side of Sauerbrunn. If the ball then touched her head (I can't tell but its awfully close) it would be an offside offense. Alternatively, after the ball goes through and is crossed back, Dahlkemper moves toward the ball. If she was still in an offside position (again, I can't tell with the camera angle) then given the proximity to the keeper, that would be offside by interfering with an opponent.
I call Jennine Beckie, "Jennine no goals."
sophia vs alex
Robbery
That Beckie turning towards the crowd celebrating her cross and not the goal with D'Aquila after failing at her own huge chances to score, tells me something is off in that frontline.
Smith also seeems unhappy, a bit selfish (my impression from all highlights)and and not in a great shape of form.
If Alex was offside, Daquila was definitely off... Ref squad rack up another win
Pause at 7:56. D'Aquila is behind _both_ the last defender and *the ball,* and both by an obvious margin. Can't tell from these highlights, but I suspect the VAR review was for some other issue. Fleming came back from an offside position to collect the ball and pass to Beckie, but that's not an offense because a San Diego player was the last to kick the ball.
Also the broadcast froze playback at the wrong time for Morgan's offside. They freeze frame when the ball is on the head of a player, but that's not the forward pass. The ball actually falls to the ground behind that player and then is kicked towards goal/Morgan at 3:06. She is visibly offside at that point, it's just that there's confusion about when the forward pass happened.
@@noodle_fc I can't tell if you're agreeing with me or not lol
@@kjreames I am not. :p
I think the refs did very well tonight. One of the top 3 best-officiated games I've seen this year
@@noodle_fc Portland fan then
More BS officiating: San Diego got completely screwed out of a goal by a bogus offside call. Was it reviewed?
VAR will always evaluate evey goal or disallowed goal. That there was no on-field review means that the VAR didn't determine that there was a clear and obvious error. The camera angle is horrible, but it makes more sense to me that the offside was actually called on Dahlkemper, not Morgan.
