Zayd ibn Haritha (who was known as Zayd ibn Muhammad before the revelation) was formerly the adopted son of the Prophet SAW who chose to live with him over his own family. Shaykh Abdullah Waheed tells us that the Prophet SAW was known in many ways, but he was described most as a man “upon exalted character.”
