Another way would be to 3d print “cores” with magnets inside then you can print out the paper templates and glue them on.

Maybe if you had a Laser Paper cuting printer it could be easier.

I made a magnetic papercraft steve once, never thought to put magnets in the blocks, mainly because it would be expensive

You basically have to make them right now. Mojang is strict and wont let people put them online. Ill find a legal way though. Theres a couple custom ones on my website if you want for free🤌🏼

Hello, I love your creativity and your art, I have a question, from what I see you make your own templates in photoshop, how do you do to expand the textures of the game without losing the quality, since most are 16x16 pixels, in my case I lose a lot of quality and it looks bad, could you just tell me how to make it not lose quality? How do you make the blocks and mobs and the characters to size with the blocks because there are other templates but those blocks are way bigger and i dont know how to make them 1 inch.

As a retired papercrafter (until I get that burst of inspiration again) who got sick of the construction process, I think I might buy some of these instead
Ayy I used to make papercraft YEARS ago and then one day decided it would be really sick to turn it up to a new level. The blocks on my shop are actually super sick if you want to just have fun, but crafting can be really fun on its own too.
@@theplopyt mainly just when I would sit there with my itty bitty scissors for hours because I am unskilled with the art of the exacto blade and my hands would get sweaty and smear the ink, also my printer is on life support

I have a question, how can i stop the magnet from falling off inside? I used elmers glue and if i push them together to hard it falls off pretty easily...

Im actually working on a Individual block thing right now! Also, use Krazy glue for the magnets. It works too well!

As I noticed something with the magnets wouldn't it be better the have the "north" sides be on the "negative" x y z and the "south" sides be on the "positive" x y z so that you can rotate stuff like the logs? and doing this wouldn't make have to have 2 different types oif blocks unless I understood the video wrong.

why do you need two different block types? because couldnt you just rotate a block 90 degrees and it will then connect? I made a couple and that was the case with me, i just want to make sure im not missing something. Also how do you figure out which is N and S.
By using Compass it can be a Phone compass too

Thank you so much for giving the templates for free. Now I am trying to make the blocks but i dont have the neodymium magnets so i am making without those magnets, is it ok to do so? And can you please give the PrestonPlayz charcter template also.

There is a third method that is the first and second combined here is how to do it starts BY LAYING UR PAPER CUTOUT FLAT PUT A MAGNIT ON EACH PLANE NEST CUT A PAPER TOWEL LAY IT OVER AND GLUE IT DOWN AND IT WILL ALLOW THE MAGNIT TO TURN AND MOVE MEANING NO MORE ALIGNMENT AND PAIN😂 P.S. BE CAREFULL IF YOU MOVE THE MAGNET TO THE WIDES AND CORNERS THEY MIGHT CONNECT TOGETHER SO MAKE SURE TO NOT GIVE IT TO MUCH ROOM.❤❤
