100 Players Simulate a HUGE Minecraft Civilization in an SCP Apocalypse

- What if Civilizations formed in an SCP Apocalypse inside Minecraft? Well in this Minecraft 100 Player Civilizations video, four teams are split up into four different biomes with each of their own advantages and disadvantages. Also to add to the chaos that is already bound to unfold, SCPs were released into this Minecraft world, making it much more dangerous. Will these 100 players be able to create Civilizations and survive against these SCPs or die trying.
Minecraft: Minecraft is a sandbox video game developed by Mojang. The game was created by Markus "Notch" Persson in the Java programming language.

Wow this was a challenge... Who was your favourite team?
Side note: The server was a bit laggy at the beginning, sorry for that, I will work on fixing that next time!
Give sucky sucky 80000
Am actually joking lol
I remember when u guys tried killing the soldiers but i left and left you guys and stole everything i was iwwnv
POV: You died in the first minute to a teddy bear scp that gave you 3 different poison effects
My guy I love this haven’t seen it yet though wish I could have participated in the challenge
26:36
I love how this shows that even people who know what 939 is can fall for it if they're in the right scenario
Not to mention the gas 939 exhales also has both the ability to make people forget about it, and draws you back to where you encountered it. In a game that obviously does work but in universe, that's even harder to escape.
31:20 I love how chaotic this four team alliance is, even that guy that says "NO MARK! Oh hey Mark. NO MARK! Oh hey Mark" was chaotic enough lmaooo
Lmao that was me yelling it, They're name was mark so how could I not pull that reference lol
Imagine the IRL SCP Foundation is having a containment breach, then having a bunch idiots in diamond medieval armor masks and silly hats show up with a bunch of guns, break into the foundation, proceed to KICK entities asses, kill a god, and just leave with no explanation what so ever. The O-5 council be like WTF!?!?
The O-5 Council would be teaming up the the GOC and even some enemy organizations like the Insurgency, Gru-P, and Church of The Broken God to find out who these guys are and how to amnesticate them.
They might be able to defeat SCP-173, but SCP-682 and SCP-096 (SCP-105, etc.) will defeat them in turn. Or just trick them into SCP-3008. Problem solved.
They would be an scp themselves with how they survived and killed the god
😂😂😂😂
SCP-7178 “The Block Death Squad”
This is literally how the Church Of The Broken God works.
Would’ve truly been chaotic with more SCPs and seeing how those who know vs who don’t know would handle situations with the Gate Guardian, 096, 049, 106 etc.
Oh god imagine the 096 chain reaction
"Oh look why this guy is screami-"
Imagine scp-001 gate guardian says to the players to leave but they don't. And then he wipes them all out with 1028372863283638468346373627363836374638463846737464738 damage.
The among us character is SCP-5167, otherwise known as "when the impostor is sus". It's an entity called "phthonus" that plays as the impostor in all rounds it plays. After the game, all participants will develop capgrass delusion, the belief that everyone has been replaced with an identical impostor. SCP-5761 is another SCP based of among us and it calls itself "amoguswrath", and is directly connected to SCP-5167. Go look them up.
When the Impister is sos
Fun fact: you can't fight that SCP physically, it's just a player in a game
Woahh, the amogus SCPs' numbers have the same digits.
why is a scp amogus now
@@CookieDragon-sr8yw I don't think it's a coincidence. There's something to it, maybe just to help show connections, but I'm thinking it might be deeper, just not sure what exactly it could be.
I can't tell if he didn't know that the Chaos Insurgency is an actual group in the SCP universe or if he just didn't mention it. It's a coin-toss for me, I can imagine him just seeing a neck snapping peanut and saying "sign me up".
Nope he definitely doesn't know SCP since he was confused why 173 wasn't moving when everyone was looking at it.
@@Honkious5824 yeah if you don't know peanut you don't know much at all. He's is the OG after all. You guys probably know his design is kinda unofficial now right? Some copyright issue with the picture that was originally stolen. It was allowed to be used after it was realized, but other games and stuff don't have that permission. So each game has a different design, or is supposed to have a different design. For example SCP-173-U is the unity version. The original design I wanna call SCP-173-OG. OG means original obviously. But either way, he still peanut to me.
bro searched spooky things on google and thought: *content* without doing any research
@@see4881 Legit, imagine thinking there is an SCP god that you could defeat, especially when 343, 2317, the Scarlet King, the Hanged King, etc. exist
@@kevin2714 the hanged king is interesting to say the least
The SCP Overtime mod for 1.16.5 had a massive update, since you've posted this vid, you should make a new vid with the updated version... it adds a ton more of SCPs as well as revamping and upgrading already existent ones... an idea for a vid could be "Survivng 100 days recontaining the SCPs" and your goal could be well, to recontain them, and not exterminate them...
Here's an idea for a sequel:
200 players try to simulate an SCP Foundation. Roleplay is very highly recommended for the players. 13 will be chosen to be O-5. They can go wherever they want, and as long as it's "for the good of the world", do whatever they want. They must try to stay hidden among the other Foundation staff, only letting fellow O-5 counsel members know their true role. They would also have a few special powers, such as higher HP, durability, strength and immunity to hunger. No other players can know who the O-5 are, and anyone who finds out will be marked for termination(in other words, they will be marked as kill-on-sight for all other foundation players.) While O-5 are allowed to do almost anything, if the majority of the rest of the O-5 counsel chooses, the selected member can be made into a D-class. They are then replaced by a random, non D-class foundation member.
Half of the remaining players will be citizens, tasked with keeping a town/city running, or building a city themselves. The remaining half will act as foundation staff, divided as evenly as possible.
The D-class don't have a lot of freedom, but their only objective is to survive, at any cost. Deception, cruelty, violence, or friendship, kindness, and honor, they just have to survive as long as possible.
Scientists are tasked with studying SCPs and finding ways to contain them. It's recommended for them to try not to destroy or kill them, but if the O-5 approve, then they can try to terminate it.
Guards and task force members are one and the same, just to make it a little easier. They, of course, enforce the rules of the Foundation and help capture/kill SCPs.
I read through this whole thing. I’m not ok. Good idea though!!!
The chaos insergency was the only one that is real in the lore and at the end they lost so many people but no matter what cost "They live in the dark,so we can live in the light"
well the SCP foundation "die in the dark so we can live in the light" BUT the Chaos insurgency is more like "We do things, we kill foundation's personals and steal SCPs for project like... actually no one know what the Chaos insurgecy really want not even us..."
@@sin_of_laze3922 They want to set the SCPs free. I don't understand how they think powerful SCPs like SCP-682 or SCP-173 (when not looked at) will work out, but that's their opinion.
@@daymonvoisin7153 it's not that they want the scps freed it's that they want them to be used as tools and want to break the foundations secrecy and reveal them to the public.
@@daymonvoisin7153 they want to use SCPs for military stuff
@@daymonvoisin7153 that's the serpents hands not the chaos insurgency
This was quite the experience to listen to while writing lol. Btw, at some points you sounded a lot like forge labs, especially when you explained about building the tower with the bear trap
I THOUGHT THAT TOO!
@@monicakurylchenko879 bro same
very true
yeah
like running our of breath
Love how this played out like a rpg questline, the remaining humans united to rid the world of the SCP God and therefore save humanity.
I really like the idea of putting the SCP who doesnt move when you look at it as a guard, anyways great video 10/10.
SCP-173 (peanut, whatever you want to call the statue) was the very first SCP to exist (as in: First file created). I would really like SCP-682 to join, but that might be a bit too powerful (SCP-682 is virtually indestructible).
@@daymonvoisin7153 p
@@daymonvoisin7153 he is entirely indestructible. When they tossed him into a gap in reality in Russia that makes things cease to exist, he still killed people while not actually existing. He then remanifested in his containment chamber. I think its safe to say it's better to trap him in a dimension with no people to hurt. There are 57 other universes, so maybe one of those will work.
This was an amazing event! It was great to be a part of it and can't wait to be a part of more events!!
Same V0id
IT DOSENT LIKE ME!!!-V0idPhantom
Wow the SCP really don’t like you, I wonder why
I’m pretty sure that gloomless had to censor part of my reaction to that
Hahah the SCPs HATED you man I felt so bad lmao
i love how only one team is has a name that actually has a meaning for the lore.
I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but I hope they weaponise them centipedes.
Awwww... no weaponised centipedes.
So wasteland and desert teams had fitting names(for different reasons)
Wasteland as Boomers are a faction in Fallout NV and desert as Chaos Insurgency is a cannontical group in the SCP universe
Of course he didn't move the 'peanut man' (scp 173) ONLY moves when it is not observed. Even a blink of an eye is enough for it to kill you, it is extremely fast but as long as you are looking at it, it cannot move. Kinda like weeping angels from Doctor Who.
Pepe_meme is a real mvp. Fishing for a solid 2 hour is honestly impressive for this game.
This was a hell of a lot of fun to be a part of, thanks for hosting Gloomless....
Also hehe funny beartrap
hah lmao, yeahhhh no one is ever gonna forget about that. Also nice work in the experiment :D
@@Gloomless if you ever need someone to make up a rough idea for future events let me know, I've got a knack for world building lmao
@@Gloomless i hope i get to be in an ice team one day
@@Scythmon I actually got an idea in mind for the next event, these things are so much fun lol
@@Gloomless what about one where time goes crazy? Like there will be patches where time slows down, patches where it speeds up, patches where it just stops, and patches where things slow down, stop, then reverse until it leaves the patch or something. And if your smart and skilled enough, you can use these to your advantage. But you can control them. No idea how to do it, just sounds cool to me.
imagine stepping on your own beartrap 5 minutes into your own event.
I enjoyed watching it alot and the ending was just perfect, having fun, celebrating their win, showing which person was best at which thing for eg: VoidPhantom being the most hated by SCPs and last but not the least burning Gloomness alive while singing their favorite songs
if you didnt know 173 can only move and attack when not in anybody’s view
also i think that person was hitting with a pickaxe since in the scp lore scp 173 was neutralized via a scranton reality anchor (i think thats what it was called) and a normal sledgehammer
173 was absolutely not neutralized with a SRA (reality anchor). Reality anchors are used to stabilize reality against reality bending SCPs. 173 isn’t a reality bender, it wouldn’t have any affect on him whatsoever
173 also wasn’t neutralized in lore
I love the team idea chaos insurgency
literally derived from scp lore:
Chaos insurgency are a whole different group against the scp foundation, they are task to eliminate scp foundation members and steal the scp's and use it in their advantage
in their war to free SCPs. The Insurgency started due to the early Foundation's lack of Ethics (read: before the Ethics Committee was formed).
This document really lets you show the emotional and socialite these teams have!at the first start, they were all havoc, closing to the end, they became a team,we can really see the start and the end of a colony forming and working together to complete and solve problems!really good video!
I forgor to send in my footage 💀
hah really lmao, it is all good, I had alot of footage
Hi
Lol
It's all right
Bro wtf whyyyy? Couldve been better if we yad your footage
I have a recommendation gloomless. Can you do a 100 player civilization in a “scp 001 when day breaks” apocalypse?
Yes my guy
Legit, give them a few moments of day to gather stuff before Day breaks and from there, the fun will begin
@@kevin2714"why the fuck am I melting?"
Pepe_Meme is the chad of fishing, he clearly understands that fishing is everything in a world of scp stuff. My man was out here hopefully getting good enchantments and food for his own team. He deserves an award of fisherman dedication, for the only dedicated player of fishing.
This is no where near that would be considered an apocalyptic event in SCP lore. Best you can say is a mass breakout of scps.
Yeah in the SCPverse this is simply just a breakout, universes/articles have seen worse
33:50. Ah yes. Thinking like a true foundation scientist. Put the SCP in a box.
Wait... they put 173 in a box and it stayed in the box and everything was fine.
Does that make 173 a safe-class anomaly?
@cookiedragon1321 technically, no. It has the capability to break down it’s containment doors at site 19 should it see fit, as long as nobody is looking.
@@allpurposewheatflour Oh, ok.
But can it break cobble?
@@CookieDragon-sr8yw it depends on the modder, they might have made peanut able to destroy blocks up to a certain amount of hardness (cobble has a hardness of 3), or made it able to destroy all blocks, or just not made it able to destroy anything
Now before I get my daily dose of insanity I’d like to say thank you to gloomy for making this
And thanks for watching :D
I haven’t finished the video yet, but the premise that there are 2 ways to win rather than just killing each other is a great and interesting change, as it makes it more interesting than ‘who has the best PvP’ers’.
Scp 2000
Finally a ending where people actually worked together
I'm surprised by how many casualties there were, I hope you make another one of these but bedrock compatible. It was a very nice video
you cant make mods bedrock compatible
@@poopman6944 you can its just a different process
I really love this kind of commendation, It will be better if there was more video of the other players eyes rather then having them all in replay mod.
Yes ikr, I actually enjoyed that part, Imma definitly try to get more footage from people streams/recordings in the next experiment!
@@Gloomless Yes, that would be more enjoyable for other people like me.
These war/civilization videos are fun to watch, but seem really short considering how much effort must have gone into making it. I mean something like this should have 5-6 videos at least. I think more time spent showing the effort and perspective of individual players and gathering/mining/scouting subgroups would greatly improve these and get more views. l)J
When Void screamed "IT DOES NOT LIKE ME!" when that troll SCP chased him had me rolling! Haha! Great video btw, excellent work and camera shots, spectating, not counting when you got bear trapped by yourself, but overall very fun.
As an SCP nerd I can tell you are referring to SCP-082, “Fernand” He is actually quite the gentleman, but prefers not to be called a troll, in that case, he’ll likely eat your head.
I really enjoyed the OG Mario music, it brought back a lot of good memories and blended in really well with the gameplay. Good stuff Gloomless.
A scary aspect of this is the Deer SCP called the "god" SCP isn't even the most powerful of the actual SCPs.
In fact there is an SCP(343) which calls itself "God" that is more powerful.
There are multiple SCPs designated 001(to try to prevent one from thinking you're talking about _him_ , because this makes him stronger) One called "When Day Breaks" that turns the Deer into a horrifying flesh monster
Another is called "World Gone Beautiful" where 90% of the land that can harbor flowers - blossoms flowers and within 24 hours the entire world dies. No one knows how or why this occurs.(SCP starts dealing with multiversal levels later).
Being collaborative the 'canon' is a little contradictory at times, but it's pretty enjoyable to read about here-or-there.
(Edit)
SCP-999 aka The Tickle monster. Making physical contact with it makes you feel better.
him? the scarlet king?
@@tristanyou this comment needs to be deleted we may not say his name
Now this is the kind of videos where players come together rather than to see someone go solo
I feel like these experiments have turned into "put 100 players into a random scenario and see happens then upload it onto youtube"

bro, your death was the definition of irony, great video. Also, did you record by yourself or did you have admins helping? Like, F.O.A was already at half the players when you showed.
yeah I had people on each team record at least I tried to lol, But yeah half of the players died pretty much on each team at the beginning since without gear you can get one shotted, also there was some lag so that didnt help lol
Ngl, the used of the L4D theme along the video was pretty clever and sent chills down my spine in some occasions
1:24 brings back so many memories and is nostalgic.

The reason that peanut man, AKA SCP 173 didn't move is because it can only move when no one's looking at it, and it was being watched by three people
