I loved using DeeJay, his tools really suited sf4. I’ve always thought that he’s a totally viable character unless playing against the very best. Some people have suggested that he might not be as low tier as “the pros” always say, but his main issue is his general damage output - his punishes are pretty crap and he can’t capitalise with big damage combos like most of the other cast. He’s very effective if played like Guile though.
@@sharpshootermaster6201 well OK I don't know about you but to be honest for this joyful fighter deejay is a "HAPPY-GO-LUCKY" kickboxer he smiles a lot Because moves to the beat of the music so for smiling is not creepy unless you hate him for being black
He shares his happy go lucky smile with m. bison so you can understand why it might throw people off. speaking for myself it was always off putting in sf4 when this joyful musician tells me that it's time to die
The only thing better than that is getting far s.hp to counter hit a jump in. free juggle, but it never really happens. you can follow it up with fireball and super and it looks so sick :D
I ran him as a second to my Cody at tournaments. I loved his entire tool set. Cody was my rush down character; DeeJay was my lame brain character. Plus his combos where always fun to pull off. It’s Showtime!
@@wallacegentry4085 *Laughs at E.Ryu c.mk*. Man I really loved SF2 when I was a kid, i dont think it was ST I had on the megadrive. Prob New challengers since it had Fei. I remember looking at the manual for the move set, and seeing that tiger knee motion and trying to do Z's across the whole d-pad which obviously didn't work. Good times :P
#Deejay is only under used because he's from the Caribbean " and then he's black.. simple not many people wanna used him because he represents somewhere else or something different..!!but for me a true competitor for a great fight .@beast.
That could be a reason for some, but definitely not the main reason he's not used He simply just requires a lot of work to be good with vs other characters. On top of being a charge character a good chunk of his moves are hard to work with. Elena, Balrog, Dudley Urien. While not from the caribbean are very popular. Deejay would see more use if he did as well as they did in this game/past games
Best SF ever made.

Correct
100%
This is like the Melee of street fighter
Actually that’s street fighter 3 street fighter 4 is after
While Guile was my main Dee Jay was a close second I loved using him.
Never thought I'd see a Ultra 2 Dee Jay in action.

Here i come i am cinnamon
👏
Ya quiero tener USF4 para darle una oportunidad a este man del Deejay! Tiene estilo!
My experience with Dee Jay is that his knee shot meant you got to jump in way more than any other character. Lots of meter gain as a result.
Wow deejay is cool I just wish they could have put him in SF5
Bashir Johnson We still have hope. 👌
@@kaiba05 indeed we need a fighter like him or bring back ADON or somebody

Thanx BEAST! DeeJay is my main and I realize how much better I could be with him. Shout-out to his neutral jump HP SIT DOWN! move. :)

Billy Blanks.
I hope deejay gets a release in sf5 but it's almost end of life cycle for that game so who knows. Maybe sf6?
Yeah he’ll probably back in sf6
He's back is SF6!!!
@@bofi1280 I'm so happy 😭
@@TheRevengeSociety Me too bro! 🔥
I love his ultra.
That Seth in the first match🔥
DJ in SF2 was garbage.
CPU could get 50 hit combo on his uppercut for half your hp.
Nice.

HO-YEAH
Love his theme 🤣it's too good
Ora ora ora
DJ is a fantastic combo character
I heard "Tiger flash"
Ultra kinda made Deejay a beast vs shotos. The lk sobat being low invincible is such a good poke vs people that just wanna c.mk
Deejay has always been a shoto killer, back to ST.

that jump short is the worst

Even his punishes are just sad. Someone whiffs ultra and you get 2 moves in? He's very much for those who will accept his shortcomings
you're paranoid. he has a reputation as a low tier thats all. get a grip on reality
