好听, 好听, .......... 极其好听! 《宝玉夜探》 was the first 蒋曲 I learned to play and sing. “杜十娘” was the second 开篇. I was courageous enough to sing this with my neighbors OUTDOOR in the hot summer days in Shanghai because I was only 13-14. I have lived in foreign countries for more, much more, than half of a century. To be very honest, 评弹 is one of those things that I miss about China most. 啊(-口)拉是上海人.
Were it for the fact that I tried to establish , and then maintain, the record as the world's most frequent listener to this piece by the original 蒋朱两位大家, I would have turned to this couple's performance many, many times. Just marvellous.
I have watched the two perform separately on a number of pieces. 张建珍 is as great as she has consistently shown herself. 黄海华, on the other hand, is a big surprise this time. The reason i have found him so impressive is his gravita.
As I listened to this piece I could not help recalling to have made the comment that it was Pingtan that made me aware of the beauty of the Chinese language. As an example, take the two sentences starting 3:10. In just 15 characters, the lyricst tells us the season, the weather condition, the landscape, the condition of the creek, the humble bridge, the commonplace yet idyllic setting of the nunnery.....
Have been listening to this piece almost daily, performed by different talents. For instance, right before this video was the same piece done by 马志伟 and his wife 张建珍. I want to thank the various bloggers and tell them that their work did not go in vain in that they have cured my dementia ----- miraculously, I got the entire piece memorized !
Mr. Wong was one of the 8-member 上海评弹团 which recently visited New York City. In a video recording their performance in NY can be found a comment on Mr. Wong, who performed precisely this same piece. In essence, the comment was: " I have listened to 庵堂认母－蒋月泉 朱慧珍 1959录音 hundreds of times and I know the piece inside out. Yet I have to admit that they (i.e. 黄 and partner) could do much better than I. Mr. Wong not only learned much faster than I, he also gained his weight more efficiently than I. What is there for me to do? Life is so unfair......" Can anyone make any sense out of that comment?
The blogger is supposedly Mr. Jin YS. Yet, as the lyric has it, YIN HO ('why in 中文') at the end of the video , 8:47, the screen shows 'Thanks for watching! ( c) Y. Yu. 7-23-2017'', 其中一定有原因.

張是朱慧珍徒弟？
张建珍早年师从弹词名家徐慧珠，而后又拜著名评弹表演艺术家江文兰先生为师，擅唱”俞调”和“祁调”。蒋月泉和朱慧珍俩人的蒋、俞调配合，是曾经的黄金搭档, 也留下不少绘炙人口的书目。
评弹中是不是特别多入声字的发音？
很抱歉，“入声字的发音”指的是什么？
是啊，吴语中仍然有不少古汉语的入声字，不但苏州评弹中有，日常说话里也有，比如，”一”、”六”、“吃“、”七“、“十”、”踢“、”毕“，“别”、“笛”、“接”很多很多。基本上每句话里都会有入声字眼，但吴语区的人自己不一定感觉到在说入声，就像北方人不一定感觉到自己要特别区别拼音的in和ing以及卷舌音和平舌音，对于母语的人来说都是自然而然的。
还是差了一点点。不过够好了
黄海华现在唱的比过去更好了。可惜出来的不多了，尤其是长篇。张建珍那会已经很强了，可惜现在不大唱老曲调了。
如果沒字幕，我-句也听不懂，有字幕才能听懂。
