Brittany Vasseur Going to watch it now 💁🏻♀️ love your videos!

Im loving the new channel!
Hi, love your videos a lllot.. can you please do us a room tour for carters room xxx
Brittany Vasseur keep the IKEA kitchen you are heving a baby girl that probably want to play with it in a year so just store it in the garage
I’d say hide the kitchen until like June and see what his reaction is then, if not maybe see what baby girl thinks of it
Khansaa Zahid definitely save it for baby girl!
I was just going to comment this. I probably wouldn’t get rid of anything that baby girl might use.
Do I have kids or even want them? Nope. But I clicked immediately because I love my weekly Brittany videos 🤗
Same lol
aww you're a real one! thank you!!
Brittany Vasseur thank YOU for your awesome content! I found your channel over the summer when I was recovering from brain surgery. Your quick cleaning videos really helped me keep my house together during that time ❤️
Exactly 😂
Breast Feeding Tip: When I was breast feeding my second child, I set up a special toy box that my son could only play in whilst I was nursing the new baby. That way he had something special while the baby got her special time with me. I developed a lot of guilt when my first child wanted my attention, but I was unable to give my undivided attention because I was nursing.
Debra S great idea
About to have my third and I LOVE this idea!!!! Thanks for sharing!
My SIL did this and it worked great!
Great idea!
Such a great idea
“We everything labeled so everyone in the house knows where things go” shots fired at your husband 😂😂 I’m the same
Hahaa yeah exactly 😂
I’d store the kitchen away because Baby girl may like it when she is old enough to play with it and those sets are not cheap!!
Absolutely. She’ll probably love it. Not a sure thing. But probably.
good point, I'll store it in the garage. Maybe baby girl will appreciate it one day haha
Definitely keep! My 2 year old girl wants to play with the kitchen ALL the time. I'd say its like Carter with cars.
That is what I was thinking! Definitely hold on to a bigger ticket item if there are younger children. :)
Maybe put the little kitchen in your kitchen, so he can "cook" when you cook?
that's a great idea!!
This is what we do! We looked on Pinterest for Montessori hacks with the play kitchen turned the sink into one she could really use with a water dispenser for washing her hands :)
That is such a bomb idea!
We have a toy kitchen also. My kids ignored it in their bedroom, but once I put it in the kitchen/family room they actually played with it.
I like the idea of stowing the kitchen away then taking it out when she’s old enough. I know a lot of children like “new” toys rather than something they have seen every day. And instead of a new show I’ve been watching, my son who is about same age as Carter (April 2017) is in love with the Kids Diana Show. I know you’ll be needing something to to keep him occupied right after you have your little girl. Thank you for all the videos! You’ve truly helped me out with many great ideas.
We let someone borrow our kitchen for a bit and when they brought it back, my kids loved it again. Maybe put it in your garage for a bit like the other toys you rotate.
You’re my favorite RUclipsr when it comes to organization. Your suggestions are simple, effective, inexpensive, practical in every way. Sometimes other youtubers go too cheap and the items don’t work. Or too focused on looks, etc.
I have my fingers crossed that I win your give away prize. I have never won a raffle in all my life and I’m 39! 🤣 I stopped entering giveaways but I figure my luck has to change soon.
Hi Brittany...I'm a mommy of four...3 girls n 1 son....love your videos on both ur channels....really inspire n help me organize my home n kid's stuff n all. May you have a safe n easy labour.... health n happiness for your baby girl n you all.
As for the kitchen (we also have that same ikea kitchen) I have a baby girl and let me TELL YOU, She uses that thing every single DAY! Don’t toss the kitchen, maybe cover it up, and put it away in the garage for now. And when your daughter is around 1 1/2 pull it back out. She will love it! I also gave mine a little face lift with some white paint and contact paper! There is so much you can do with it! You can give it a ‘she’ make over, and make it a fun DIY project video 🎀✨✨🍴🍴
A few ideas/tips as a child from a kitchen set childhood! I’m one of 5 kids, and my toddler brother at the time would chew on the dishes and I would actually play with the kitchen set then and I was four years older than him. I will say that sometimes we play with it all the time and then we’d forget about it for awhile and then it would be our hot new thing again. (You could always try keeping it in the garage and see how excited Carter is when it comes back out.) When he’s a little older, I think he would like playing it with her. How cute would that be?!😍 I will say, even if you don’t keep it, please keep some dishes and food! After we no longer had the kitchen part of the set, My siblings and I would use a box or empty cabinet shelf as the “oven” and use the dishes alll the time. Whether it was for tea parties or play camp outs. Mom kept the toy dishes in a bottom drawer in the kitchen so that we could get into it instead of the real dishes too!
Kids toy organizing is never ending 😫 drives me crazy!
I bet
Love it! I have 3 small kiddos in a 1400 SF house. The bedroom and closets are TINY. We regularly purge toys and books and HAVE to stay organized or it gets out of control fast. And we are 100% team “keep toys stored away and bring them out for toy rotation.” It works like a charm!
We have really enjoyed watching the new Disney remakes together! The Lion King, Aladdin, The Jungle book, Beauty and the Beast. It keeps us all happy! X
Baby girls will play with the kitchen set in a year!
Ugh, girl I needed this motivation! 🙌🏼 my little one’s toys have been EVERYWHERE lately because I don’t have an actual home for them! I need to do a whole video on playroom organization when I get to it! Great video! 💛
Ok, I have to admit, when I saw this pop up I thought, “Oh ok. It’s for younger kids. Mine are older (7, 11, and 13), but I’ll watch it anyway.” Girrrrrl, so glad I did! I homeschool these guys (and have been for a while), so I’m always looking for new ideas for storing books, arts & crafts, papers, etc. I loved the bath toys storage you have going on, because my 7-year-old baby still likes playing with bath toys. 😉 For those of you that have older kids, and need huge bookshelves, like me, the cheapest route to go is to find them second hand, repaint them, and use them for books (or whatever you need to get off your floor). Saves so much 💵! Thank you for showing us what you do! I’ve added most your items to our Amazon wishlists. 😃 I agree with others on here: put the play kitchen in your garage (if you have room), and bring it out either later for Carter or for baby sister. She may like it. You never know. God bless you and your beautiful family! 🙏 💕 🤗
I am 33 weeks pregnant, and I loved the Netflix documentary series Babies. We are now even more excited about meeting our girl ❤️
Don’t get rid of the kitchen set yet! When my youngest was 5, I gave away her kitchen set because she hadn’t played with it in months. It took her about a week to notice that it was even gone, but once she realized it she cried for days! She is 15 now & still occasionally says to me “remember when you gave away my kitchen set?!” Don’t make the same mistake as me! 🤣
WOW that art cart is absolutly amazing!!! Plus it looks really pretty, like part of the home decor. Great job on the organizing tips, but hey what else can you expect from an ORGANIZING QUEEN!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
Definitely keep the kitchen for your precious little baby girl that's on her way! I'm sure she'd love it. My granddaughter loved hers and the Melissa and Doug food is perfect with the kitchen. Both of our grandchildren loved ALL of the Melissa and Doug toys we got for them over the years.
My girls stopped playing with their kitchen for a while (for a LONG time), but now they play with again! Our youngest is now big enough to play with it, so I'm glad I kept it.
I've been watching Jane The Virgin lately. Such a light show! Perfect for quarantine xx i loved the little kitchen
My favorite show I watched during quarantine is Anne with an E. I love these books, and the tv show is very well made!
Ughhh same ❤︎❤︎❤︎
love anne with an e
Kitchen for the baby girl! That could be so fun. Cooking together is always something that makes the best memories. ❤
I’ve been binge watching Jane the Virgin during this quarantine. When my little one is around, we have been watching Paw Patrol and that show has me catching myself getting WAY too into it for my age but hey, when you have littles, cartoons become some of your favorites. ❤️
My favorite show I’ve watched during quarantine is probably tiger king 🙈
I’m moving into my house we just finish building last month and there wasn’t a more perfect time for this to come out. Thank you for the videos 💙
Congrats!👍
Desiree Diaz how exciting!
Desiree Diaz Congrats on your move!!!
Thank y’all so much.
Keep the kitchen for baby girl! I know it’s a while before she would use it but it could be something they both will play with and share ☺️
My favorite thing that I have seen lately is boy meets world on Disney +. My
Husband got me hooked on it and we love watching it together. It brings the child in us out 😛
Hi Brittany, neat organization!! Thank you for the good ideas!! As for the toy kitchen, maybe you can bring Carter with you for cooking in the kitchen, such as having him looking at you while chopping the food materials, putting pots, steaming, removing foods, etc, take him to grocery shopping and ask him to choose the groceries and put them in the cart. That way, he might grow some interest in playing in the "kitchen" area. Again, thank you and God bless you and yours!!
This will come in handy with my babygirl eventually. I’m 31 weeks pregnant 😂
Eloisa Espindola congratulations on your blessing! 💕
My favorite TV show I've watched recently is actually 3 that are spinoffs of each other they are
1 vampire diaries
2 the originals (this one is my top fav)
3 legacies
Brittany's life same here I keep watching all 3 of them over and over again. They never get tiring.
Same! Love them all
Definitely keep the kitchen for baby girl!!! I love these videos, you have given me LOTS of things to feed my Amazon habit. The bath bucket that drains and the head contraption to keep the water & soap out of their eyes was GENIUS! My 2 year old fights me every time, but LOVES bath time.
I came away with some great ideas after watching this. Thanks for sharing. I'm a Grey's Anatomy fan when it comes to TV, but RUclips is my daily go to for a "getaway" from the everyday stuff.
lol @ "I even labeled everything, so OTHER PEOPLE IN THE HOUSE know where to put everything..."
Hi! Just got done watching “Little Fires Everywhere.” It was pretty intense.
I'm so glad you did a mommy channel, you always have great advice and tips!! So happy for your pregnancy!!! I'm prego too!! 33wks pregnant and it took me 5 years of struggles with infertility but I finally made it!!! So happy you share your story with us and I'm so happy to follow along with you!! Keep up the awesome work!
I love seeing all the bins you use and how you use them for organizing. I have bins EVERYWHERE, for EVERYTHING. My boyfriend makes fun of me but I don't hear complaining when he's looking for something and knows where to look! lol
Did anyone else notice that she said "long sleeve pants"? LOL.
lol, yes
Pregnant mom brain lol
My son used to say that when he was little and I used to think it was the cutest thing. She just reminded me 😂
Hello, the best tv show I e watched so far during quarantine is an old one but I finally got the time to watch it and it’s The Originals... the ending is what makes it so epic for me. Take care and God bless❤️
I’m a daycare owner, and I use a similar rolling cart (single sided and all the drawers are the same size) for board games. They all fit nicely in their own drawer.
I love love love that you have 2 channels now! And the thing I love most about you is you care about your subscribers. You respond to comments and DM’s if it means you’ll be able to help. Looking forward to more videos especially on your mommy channel. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi! Helpful tip 👍
At the school district where I work, since the 3 year old students can't read quite yet we use pictures labels. So for example, there will be pictures of Legos on the bin that is for Legos. Then a picture of the full Lego bin taped on the shelf so they know where the bin goes as well. It really holds them accountable for clean up! 👍👍👍
I am a health care worker so not quarantined but have been re-watching Outlander! I Love watching your videos - they get me through my workouts and gives me great ideas for my 3 and 2 year old boys :)
can we take a second and say wow carter grew!!! He is 3 I remember when u got pregnant with him and brought him home. so cute!!!! Cant wait to see baby!
Keep the kitchen, your daughter may love it...mine LOVES her kitchen and everything kitchen related, its all she plays with and she started a little over a year old!
Our son is 17 months and right behind yours. All these mommy tips are very helpful. Thank you for sharing your advice on what you’ve experienced 😊
I would definitely keep the kitchen for baby girl. My daughter uses hers a lot more than my sons did. I also love the stuffed animal bean bag chairs for stuffed animal storage. You can find them on amazon great multipurpose item and they hold a lot!! ❤️
Just what I’m doing right now decluttering my son’s room, little 🤦🏻♀️overwhelming. I’m also assembling the toy bin storage which was just delivered. I love it already. Thanks for all your tips
My son has the same Kitchen & Toy Organizer(which i LOVE).
I have been obsessed with binge watching Blue Bloods/Chicago PD/Chicago Fire...
Thank you for all your tips that art an craft organizer is already in my cart.
I’m all about any kind of organization videos! I can’t be specific because there’s a lot you organize and I’m like okay wow I’m a pretty organized person and I didn’t even realize that some of my stuff could be even more organized!
Hi Brittany! I have been a massive fan of yours eversince I was expecting my first baby, 4 years ago. I absolutely love your new mommy channel, since our children are only 6 months apart, so I relate to everything you are going through and find all your videos so helpful, so interesting and so uplifting. Keep up your good work!
Carter's playroom is so visually appealing. You placed your son's needs over yours and can't wait to see the new transformation to that room that will inevitably happen when your baby girl arrives~ ♡
Organizing can be very calming when I get into a flow.. I love all your tips!!
Our daughter(now 5 years old) stopped playing with her toy kitchen when she was about 3 years old. We got the tip from some friends of ours to place the IKEA kitchen in our kitchen. She started playing with it right away making pretend food while we were cooking. Now she loves to help out with real cooking whenever she can. 😁
Keep the kitchen! New baby might like it and Carter might take an interest in making "food/bottles" for little sister once she's here.
I really like the art and craft organization method. You can use it to organize so much! Maybe hide the kitchen play in the garage for a couple of months (cover it with a big garbage bag) and see if he plays with it after some time of not seeing it. If not, maybe store it away for baby girl 🥰
Def save that kitchen set for baby girl. My suggestions would be either to bring it into the kitchen when you are cooking or depending if you have space and weather make it a mid kitchen outside...you can use water, mud, whatever! I really want to try this no fold method! I just feel like we have too many clothes for that but maybe I can downsize. Ya welcome to pink and sparkle world! I am a mom of 2 girls!
Hey, my name is Alex and I’ve been following your channel since I was first pregnant with my son. I’m a single first time mom and watching your videos helped me get through a lot. At one point me and my son would wake up and watch one of your videos with Carter in it and he would smile and babble something and laugh. I’m started to think about potty training my son (he’s 23 months right now) and I watched your potty training video recently. If you read this then I’m sorry for such a long comment 😂 I just love watching your videos and your parenting style!❤️
I love your channel, and I am super thrilled that you started a separate mommy channel as well! I have an almost 2 year old son, and I’ve really appreciated all the tips and advice you have given. Thank you :)
Such good ideas! I love the caddy for art supplies and the bath caddy is so great. I saw the net but didn’t like that option. That is a good idea to store the trucks in an ottoman. The playroom looks cozy. I agree being home is the perfect time to do it. It makes everyone feel more relaxed. Take care! 💕
We’ve. Been loving watching throwback sitcoms lately! Right now we’re watching Frasier! Love these ideas for organizing ❤️
Love that 150+ screen free activities book.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate your advice and mommy tips over the years! 💙 My hubby and I have really enjoyed watching Jack Ryan on Prime tv
Definitely keep the kitchen, I have one for my wee guy who is now three and a half, he ignored for ages and suddenly had taken off with it again, really helps with play learning too 😇👍♥️
I can't wait to see baby girl's nursery! So excited
I love the “art cart” I could easily wheel it out of reach when it’s not in use.
Bath organization has always been a struggle for me. I just rotate a few things out while the other soak in a bleach solution. The tub tray looks very handy.
I don't have any kids right now, but I always love being prepared and looking at organization/ advice for mom's. This was very helpful!
Keep it for your daughter. She will love it. My granddaughter has one and it’s her favorite thing. So just put it in the garage until she gets about two. She will lobe it.
I love organizing and creative ideas for it. Really excited about the reusable produce bag idea! I moved into a new house a couple months ago and am almost done finishing the basement so baby and kid stuff is everywhere so I can’t wait to tackle it.
Favorite show I've watched recently is the cable girls. It's sooo good! Loving their make up & hair styles from back in the day! ❤️❤️❤️
I loved watching NEW GIRLS!!! so good!
I have three daughters that share a room and that art cart looks ideal to organize all their interest. My oldest(17) and youngest(11) are very crafty and they love doing all kinds of cool stuff my middle child(13) is the techy one. I live in a small condo so I'm hoping to get a bar cart as well to clear up counter space in my half bathroom to organize my makeup and stuff!💗💗💗
You're a hard worker, Brittany. Bless you for all that you put into your videos!
I love how organized you are, in and out.
Tip for storing puzzle pieces. Write the same letter on the back of each puzzle pieces in a set. That way if puzzle pieces get mixed up you can sort each of the pieces by the different letter and put the puzzle together again. This also can be used to teach letter identification and sorting if you get the child to help sort the puzzle pieces when they become all mixed up.
Comment
I have no favourite TV show/movie during this time of quarantine. I have been a full on stay-at-home mom with my 3 yo son and one on the way (23 weeks old) and finding it hard to even have time for myself. However , I do find joy watching the RUclips videos you posted. They are refreshing and inspiring! Refreshing in terms of content, I get updated with new ideas how to take care of my son and our household and now how to get ready as we welcome another addition to our growing family. I also watch your videos as I find you very inspiring-insipiring in a way that you can be a great and busy mom but still be glamorous at the same time! This is the part of motherhood that I forget, self-care. I use my only me-time to watch your videos after I put my son to sleep. I feel like I need that reminder to also take care of myself as a mom and an individual. So thank you for the inspiration and reminder that I can be a better mom and still be able to care for my own mom self.
Hope everyone is staying healthy :-) My favorite show right now is Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist. It is such a good show. It's heartwarming, funny, sad, uplifting, etc. Just a great show to binge watch and not think about all the sad stuff, at least for an hour.
I love all the organization! We also put away some toys in one of our closets and bust them out periodically and it's always a huge hit, almost like a new toy!! I've been watching All American on Netflix, sooo good
What a perfect timing for this video. I have been putting off this task fir a while. Cant wait to start organizing my 3year olds tons of toys . Live your channel Brittany. You are hands down my favorite influencer❤️
Currently I’m binging a nostalgic 90s classic // FAMILY MATTERS
I love the content you put out in all your social media including the new content on what used to be Carter’s Corner. Your suggestions are practical and perfect for any Parents out their seeking organization ideas. I have implemented many of your organization ideas already and have seen to make life easier. ❤️
Thank you for sharing! Suggestions would be for the big trucks on the dresser...add shelves (takes advantage of vertical space). Then on the shelves create “parking spaces” for each truck. You can put black craft cloth on the shelf ie like asphalt. Then label each spot with white tape that says “reserved parking for” & create parking lines with the white tape. Then it’s his responsibility to put each truck back where it belongs after he is done playing with it. A suggestion for the play kitchen...keep it. Most likely your baby girl will at some point want to play with it. Then if she is done playing with the kitchen and you know you are done having kids ...then maybe it’s time to donate or sell it. Hope that helps!🙂
Love all these ideas! Keep the kitchen for your baby girl! I have the same kitchen and my 1 year old son plays with it occasionally! I think he will enjoy it mire when he is older, but like Carter he loves his cars and trucks!
LOVE that rolling cart!! So smart!
You are by far my favourite mom to follow! I find your videos sooo helpful. Ever since our babies were brand new, I’ve followed so many of your tips and I’m so glad I did.
I love Full house,it’s definitely one of my favorites💕
You always get me motivated to work on another organizational project. But you’re right, it really does reduce stress! My favorite show I’ve seen recently is The Last Dance, the documentary about the Chicago Bulls & Michael Jordan. I’m a huge basketball fan and I’ve found it super interesting and not so heavy with everything going on. So really loving that one! Thank you for yet another generous giveaway 💕
Love the idea of the storage ottoman for the larger trucks. Keep the kitchen set. The interest in it will come back with his sibling. I ran into this with my 5 year old.if you turn the kitchen set around you may be able paint it with chalk paint you can use it was a chalk board in the meantime.
Keep the kitchen for your daughter. My daughter LIVES in her kitchen, from age 1.5 on. You can Pinterest cute ways to make it girlie. So many cute ideas!
We have two 4yo son, and a 2yo son. We have a large 3 piece kitchen. They weren’t playing with it a lot, but I didn’t want to get rid of it because we have a baby daughter. So, this may sound crazy, but we started storing boy toys on the kitchen set ( tool kits, drills, dinosaurs etc.) Now it’s not wasted space and the boys use it all the time. I put the play food in a tote in baby girl’s closet and will bring them out once she is big enough to play.
Been watching old classics like fried green 🍅 , steel magnolias , pride and prejudice, little women, the D
utchess, princess bride 👰🏻 . I could go on and on! Following all three accounts you’ve been one of my favorite you tubers for such a long time and especially since we both experienced two tragic events at the same exact time we both have little boys mine is a year older and your new pregnancy has given me such hope !! I’m so thankful for your channel and sweet soul!! 💛💛💛
I am here for this Brittany! My 2 and a half year old is taking over my house with his toys!! lol I am so excited for your new little one how exciting, can't wait to watch you be a mommy of two.Thank you for the content you are super inspiring!
I would definitely keep kitchen for next baby. My daughter plays with her kitchen everyday. It's one of her favorite toys. Plus those things can be pricey. Plus carter may really enjoy it later on. You just never know with little ones.
My favorites are the art cart and the over the tub organizer! Definitely going to get these soon! ❤️🌻
Thank you for sharing! Love the white closet ideas ☺
Such a great idea with the produce bags!!! Can do so much! Thanks for the great tips as always.
I love your comment about the tub toy basket keeping him from bumping the faucet. I think I need one for both uses!
