This movie is the very definition of cool !!!! :) Audrey + Cary Grant + Stanley Donen (who would have been exactly 100 this year by the way !) + Henry Mancini = perfect entertainment !!!! :) I have seen it many times and the magic is still here (and will always be I think ;) Anyway thank you !!! :)

Perfection and the opening credits by Maurice Binder are sublime.

Great comedy with five star actors like GRANT & HEPBURN.......Miss these days when movies had great actors instead of COMPUTER GENERATED SCENARIOS.

It funny how Grant got older but the actresses he worked with stayed the same age lol

Fun fact : so that the relationship between the two characters does not look (even just a little) inappropriate, the script made certain that Audrey's character was more in a seducing behavior toward Cary's character than the other way around ;) By the way, many films with Audrey and a male costar have a male character (and a love interest) older than Audrey... Almost like some kind of father figure ! I dont know if it was her style, her looks that inspired that to producers/screenwriters when she was casted for a film, or if she was herself attracted to this kind of relationship in a movie (or in life, I mean when she was young, not in the last years of her life, but one must never forget Audrey's father left the family very early in her life), but anyway, "Charade" is SOOOOOO cool :)

Considered by critics to be the best movie director Alfred Hitchcock didn't make. 😎

The picture quality is superb. But I must ask - why is the audio in mono? I'm no expert on the production history of "Charade", but I'm sure the movie's audio--from the dialogue to the foley art to Mancini's soundtrack--was recorded and mixed in stereophonic.
