@@annecantgame No, you hit the mark perfectly! Evil sirens would use a beautiful glamour & gentle song to lure unsuspecting sailors in, then lash out in their more gruesome true form. For some reason, I enjoyed those stories more than the sweeter ones growing up. 🧜🏻♀️ Edit: Spelling
Just like 20 minutes of him pretend sculpting air and using a paintbrush on nothing to paint the statue. 😄 the last shot is the slow spinning reveal shot of nothing. 😂
Well if he did the classic movie version where he's wrapped in bandages and the fedora dark glasses and suit that would actually be pretty cool though!
I'd like to see how small a figure you can create without losing the detail, like making a small diorama involving a few creatures together - tiny cute demons, imps or pixies dancing or playing around an oversized mushroom or tree stump - on a standard-sized base. Great, informative vid as usual. :)
He turned out absolutely amazing! PERFECT!!! Could you sometime sculpt an monster version of the Yeti? It requires alot of your fur techniques and lots of layers of hair
I thought you would find this interesting: A *gargoyle* is a carved animal or human attached to a building that acts as a water spout. A *grotesque* is a carved animal or human attached to a building that is merely decorative and does not serve any other function. Keep up the good work.
Gargoyle are also creatures that put away evil spirit by scare them or even by marking them laugh (there a expresion that say "if you want to put away the devil make him laugh" ) sorry me english is bad
Whenever Ace of Clay makes eyes, the figures always randomly look like they got either 12 hours of sleep or didn't sleep at all and honestly that's a mood-
Fantastic! I love how the texture really looks like stone. The red eyes just make it, awesome. Would love to see you do a Phoenix one day. I now you hate doing wings but I’d love to see you paint some amazing wings on something ☺️
Anthony what a great GARGOYLE! I searched and found more Gargoyle as monster than as a gutter or drain-spout decoration! I will vote again for a Naiad or Dryad. Nymphs of plants or trees. Your an amazing sculptor and I appreciate your efforts to create so many wonderful creations! Thanks!
I love to see your scupting but you seem tired, make sure you're taking care of yourself! We all love you and want your well-being to come first before videos. ♥️
Your gargoyle turned out amazing! I love the texture and color. You’re really crushing it this year! I would love to see some sort of android or robot. It could have a cyberpunk or atompunk aesthetic.
Perfect that you uploaded this today because this evening I will be uploading the Weird kid interview with Anthony aka Ace Of Clay. Ever thought of doing a graveyard and stone with a ground breaker zombie?
This is helping me a great deal with sculpting my own pieces! Question: how hot and for how long do you generally bake these? I'm always afraid I burn the clay if I bake it multiple times
Is it weird I would 100% put this guy in my garden? ;D I love how he turned out!! I wish it were closer to Halloween already so I could request you design your own Silent Hill monster, but alas that will probably have to come later.
I love how easy you make things seem and they all look so good :-) Have you made a strong and beautiful dragon lately? If not - that would be a nice project to watch. :-)
For a guy who says he’s not great at sculpting accurate male anatomy, you did really well. You sculpted his basic bone structure and musculature quite accurately! All of your sculptures, including the more animated styles, have logical anatomy (I worked in surgery, so I’m pretty familiar with anatomy). The only suggestion I would make is to push exposed ribs deeper into the body...even the most skinny person can have around two to three inches of skin, muscle, and tissue over the ribs. Feel free to ignore me, though, your work kicks ass just like it is.
I really like this grumpy guy! You nailed the stone texture! Goodonya Anthony! Heres a couple of ideas, what about some mashups, like a giragon (giraffe, dragon), or an elizard (elephant, lizard), or a helifino (helicopter, rhino)... just some thoughts.
I too love dry brushing it really finishes a piece and adds that extra dimension. I think it turturned out great and I always love watching you make hands you make it look so easy lol.
Im so glad i started watching your channel. It has really reminded me how much i love to sculpt, and i love your style of work. Thank you for your time and effort that you put into this channel.
Looks hella awesome! I think you should check out the monster from ’The ritual’. It's a horror movie that takes place in Sweden with a quite interesting character design. It could turn out to be quite difficult but I think you could pull it off and make an amazing sculpture.
I wait all week, every week, for your videos. You're my top 5 and that's special because I watch more RUclips than I'll ever admit lol I'm so glad I found your channel
Let me know what you think of the gargoyle and what I should make next!
😁 Follow me on Twitter: twitter.com/aceofclay
The sculpture looks great, dude.
Someday, I will love to see you make one of The Mothman. 😆😆😆😆
You should do a griffin.🦁
Scrooge
Scrooge pls pls plssssssssss
Ace of Clay he’s awesome but they usually come in pairs 😁
I think I'd LOVE to see something water-based! Like a true mermaid...the evil ones!
A siren!
Evil mermaids remind me of the ones on Pirates of the Caribbean. Is that just me?
Yes, I agree, an evil mermaid that would be cool !! 👍
Yes! Or Cthulhu

Nice work! Do the invisible man next. Should be a good challenge.

This sculpture reminded me of the old 90’s “Gargoyles” cartoon.
I love it! Also maybe you could make a giant snake! That’d be so cool and knowing you it’d turn out absolutely gorgeous. A real snake of clay.
I’d love to see a centaur, or maybe like a caveman fighting a saber tooth tiger or woolly mammoth, ohhh or a cyclops but like a baby cyclops 😂
Haha a baby Cyclopes
A centaur would be great
Honestly, just a mammoth on it's own would be pretty cool. Shit, maybe a lil dude riding one on top! Lol
I would love to see a manticore or sphinx!
That sounds so amazing! I'd love to see him do that

when life gives you lemons.....just add a snake of clay
Fantastic! I love how the texture really looks like stone. The red eyes just make it, awesome. Would love to see you do a Phoenix one day. I now you hate doing wings but I’d love to see you paint some amazing wings on something ☺️
Deb Mitchell I was just about to comment asking if he would do a Phoenix lol
A banshee would be cool, there’s a lot of different interpretations on what they look like so a lot of creative freedom.
Love it! Especially those eyes!
It would be neat to see your take on a Fu Dog statue in the future.

Ngl I think my favourite part is the little bird poop detail. Really adds to the feeling of it being a stone sculpture

Yes!!! A gargoyle!! (Or a grotesque, whatever.) I LOVED how it turned out, fantastic!
I'd really like to see a siren or a (cute) cthulhu next. 😄🐙
Great Gargoyle sculpt you can imagine a larger version of it guarding a creepy old mansion.
Oh look... the Weeping Angel's have a creepy Boyfriend.....
Great work.
"Lookin a little too jacked" lmao as always nicely done! 👊👍
my favorite part is the pigeon poop on the shoulders 😂😂😂
Talented for sure!!!!!
Thanks for sharing! Absolutely love the Gargoyle!
I’d love to see a Phoenix. I’m very interested to see how you would do the flames.
"it's super easy and super effective"
world's slowest drinking game.
LMAO
Love your sculptures, what about a tree folk, green man,🌳🍄
I'd love to see a Chinese dragon or lion! You could make it articulated like the costumes they have at New Year's celebrations.
U should make a hippocampy. It would be a challenge and very interesting to see ur take on them. ❤💜💙😻
Perfect that you uploaded this today because this evening I will be uploading the Weird kid interview with Anthony aka Ace Of Clay.

Could you maybe at some point make a fallen angel? That would be really cool. Evil angels! :)
Great work of art as always, as for my opinion on what next to build would be a banshee.

Great project as usual. The eyes really put him over the top. Still hoping for that 50’s buxom blonde victim with a twisted ankle. Thanks for sharing!
You are a self taught sculpturer and you do a great job... Love all of your hard work!!! Keep up the great work!!!
I need to try sculpey ultra light! It's so hard moulding super sculpey around foil structures on the first layer
You should try making a Kelpie :3 Could be fun
Plz make a hellhound would be real cool!
I love how easy you make things seem and they all look so good :-) Have you made a strong and beautiful dragon lately? If not - that would be a nice project to watch. :-)
U should make a sunken ship!!
It would be cool to see you do your version of a evil alien
Love your work! Always amazing watching you work! Would love to see maybe a succubus or incubus.
The stone texture is absolutely stunning!
I think he looks amazing. The stone texture is very realistic and when you did his red eyes he just came to life. ❤️
Regards Rowena 🇬🇧
The stone texturing and coloring are fantastic!!
This... might just be my favorite thing you've ever created. It looks /so/ good!
This is one of my favourite sculptures you've dry brushed! It literally popped!! Wow wow wow
Makes me wanna go watch the animated series again lol
Please sculpt a knight in shining armor. please! 👍 Great video.

Could you make a saber tooth or a dragon??
You should sculpt Cthulu or an ancient pharao 🙂🖤
Could you make a kelpie? They're giant fish horses that trick people into riding them and drown them, pretty cool
Sounds like an absolute bitch to sculpt though... but would be a good challenge.
Rhys Causon yeah, now that i think about it
Wow! the texture on him is so good!! Great job!
I’d love to see a Skesis or Gelfling from the Dark Crystal. Love to see your interpretation on a puppet character into clay
I love it! The texture looks amazing! A possible suggestion to make is a kirin or a unicorn! I’d love to see either in your style!
Thank you so much for making this gargoyle. I collect gargoyles and really enjoyed watching the techniques you used.
His name is on point because he is legit the ace of clay I would have never been able to do that
