Our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy >>and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.
People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyper inflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyper-inflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.

Yes all govts use a system that suits them (as they should), but globalism means that choice will be gone. People stopped using cash because of ignorance of the consequences. They are giving up personal autonomy for 'convenience'
This was a different perspective from someone who lives outside of the USA, which I think his observations are on based on the history of this country his knowledge and experience of the inner workings of economics and power. I did not hear any lies detected. In addition to his observations, the man also stated facts about Americans havent had privacy, as well as being scammed upon by their own government, banking systems, and the oligarchs for decades is nothing new. But, now ship is truly going to sink because all empires at some point come to an end. We are in the last stages of this empire. Ultimately when a thing dies, there's always a birth. Hopefully the new birth is for the GOOD of all of humanity.
I understand what is coming, the problem I have is leaving it up to the govt to decide the distributions of money as we have all been witness to the shady undertakings of gov’ts around the world. It seems like a slippery slope towards a distopian future where gov’ts decide why, when and which gets money, I’m not onboard with that level of trust in any govt.
Raoul switching the subject with haste from CBDC to China being the threat spoke volumes. He may be a .gov Schill. There is no instrument more threatening than a CBDC.
Years ago, I used to carry 10 grand cash on me so no you’re completely wrong. You’re not already there you’re not already there at all. There is a huge difference between you holding money with no intermediate that can be traded for other things directly without fees, like gold or silver With no permission needed from the government that’s cash.
Sir Tom, please if youre repeating or renaming clips we've seen. Please just talk, with no guest about these topics cuz it eases my mind through this scarry azz time. Please!❤🎉
I use cash ALL THE TIME. I make it a POINT to use cash. I pull out 1k each paycheck and use it throughout the 2weeks until my next paycheck. I purchase silver, food, ammo, gun parts ALL with cash.
And XRP AND XLM are the third (and improved) generation of Bitcoin which is why the US slowed down Ripple’s XRP growth with the SEC lawsuit (that THE SEC is now apologizing for).
Do you think it's a good time to consider selling some stocks, or is it better to hold onto them for the long term? I’m considering rebalancing my $2M portfolios, So I'm curious about the best strategies to invest this year.
People still use cash. Some of my customers pay in cash. Some of vendors I deal with either accept just cash/checks, or give a discount for paying in cash.
I think this talk is more about after the crisis stock up on food Now you won’t be going to the store for a while but you be standing in the government desperation line if there is one
Every situation where power is out or political turmoil or the EBT system goes offline. They only take cash. If the system is down or power is out. You have no alternative
CBDC? What happens when you don't have electricity or a charged phone or conductivity? I live in New Orleans and we lose power all the time for many days. If I want to buy something I can use paper money with no problem. What would a Solar flare power outage do to society with CBDC?
Wrong.I pay everything in cash. Its the only way to have anamous purchases today. I buy my used cars and even pay contractors in cash. Once u go digital u can kiss anonymity goodbye.
Notice Raoul never suggests less government. All his solutions are for greater government potency. There is a difference between your government knowing what you are doing, and your government being able to exercise power over your behavior.
I do use cash, and the opportunity is there to use cash if we wish. I also use cards, as you mention. With cash, you can save some money outside the system, meaning if the government did cut off your accounts, you could still be viable if you had some cash available. Also other countries use cash primarily like Nepal,
Is it possible that one day soon there will be a government announcement informing the entire population that, as of a certain date, they will gradually transition to Bitcoin? Is this how it will unfold?

This is the best opinion and advice I have heard so far. I have been listening for years but I couldn’t connect everything until a few years ago. I can’t believe this is the game we have to play. 😂we had it so good.
Why is there an aging problem. There are those who are more concerned about getting an abortion than raising a family. If you don’t have family what do you have?
Awesome content! I always love hearing from Raul
This guy's ideas on government and freedom are scary. There are precious few Brits who get it.
With all the respect for all the participants and shared messages, the repetitive 'bite' thumbnails has pushed me in opposite direction. Thank you Tom Bilyeu for the years of valuable videos we have watched.... time to shift energy vibration and move on to a higher perspective on our Global matters and evolution. By By ....
I use cash. I may be a lone person but I use cash.
The Alligator Alley toll road at the tip of S FL takes cash only.
Yes all govts use a system that suits them (as they should), but globalism means that choice will be gone.
People stopped using cash because of ignorance of the consequences. They are giving up personal autonomy for 'convenience'
I use cash all the time. In my community I see around 50% of people use cash for groceries. The wealthier the community, the less I see cash.
Stop smoking so much weed Tom - your ability to interact with a thoughtful and intelligent guest is waning
Some of us believe that money should not be issued by the government.
But then, how do you get all that in that period of time? What is it you do please, mind sharing?
Best 20 minutes besides church today ❤ I love freedom
And truth and Christ
Wow what an interesting discussion
When was this recorded?
I use cash too...
I'm so so so screwed
I can’t stand clipped content.
"*Pause* yeah very distressing" same bro... same
I use cash all the time.
Raoul switching the subject with haste from CBDC to China being the threat spoke volumes. He may be a .gov Schill. There is no instrument more threatening than a CBDC.
“Do interesting things” with CDC? The Chinese system is “just different ways”? NO WAY
Years ago, I used to carry 10 grand cash on me so no you’re completely wrong. You’re not already there you’re not already there at all. There is a huge difference between you holding money with no intermediate that can be traded for other things directly without fees, like gold or silver With no permission needed from the government that’s cash.
If Raoul believes that all governments are equal, why does he live in Grand Cayman?
Glad to see the “community” for these internet talking heads hold them accountable instead just fan drooling all over them like we used to do.
The sheep lives its life in fear of being eaten by the wolf only to be eaten by the shepherd.
Sir Tom, please if youre repeating or renaming clips we've seen. Please just talk, with no guest about these topics cuz it eases my mind through this scarry azz time. Please!❤🎉
Interesting. Living in CA where behavioral economics seems to be an utter absolute disaster.
No will do a cbdc , people use crypto because it's not forced. I will always love cash we live in a physical world we need physical money.
Who do you trust to operate, manage, control the digital system.
I use cash ALL THE TIME. I make it a POINT to use cash. I pull out 1k each paycheck and use it throughout the 2weeks until my next paycheck.
I purchase silver, food, ammo, gun parts ALL with cash.
Why are all big banks buying gold..
I’m considering rebalancing my $2M portfolios, So I'm curious about the best strategies to invest this year.
everyone needs a margin of safety in their portfolios and just remember, it's time in the market not timing the market
People still use cash. Some of my customers pay in cash. Some of vendors I deal with either accept just cash/checks, or give a discount for paying in cash.
Let's go back to pre internet days.
I think this talk is more about after the crisis stock up on food Now you won’t be going to the store for a while but you be standing in the government desperation line if there is one
Every situation where power is out or political turmoil or the EBT system goes offline. They only take cash. If the system is down or power is out. You have no alternative
will a cbdc take away from bitcoin?

We've seen this for 60 years. What's your point? What does happen next steps?
Yet again reminded why I don't watch Tom.
Too bad, because some of the guests are great.
Repost but this was a good interview.
The Cayman islands. When you can't get anything delivered because shipping collapses, there and you don't have water. LOL great plan.
im unsubscribing ur content quality has dropped quiet a bit. sad to say
I do use cash, and the opportunity is there to use cash if we wish. I also use cards, as you mention. With cash, you can save some money outside the system, meaning if the government did cut off your accounts, you could still be viable if you had some cash available. Also other countries use cash primarily like Nepal,
Almost can’t get enough of Raul Pal! Thanks Tom for bringing us people like this and creating such great conversations.
History repeats because human emotions never change 🤷♂️
Thank you, Raoul. All governments are the same.
Is it possible that one day soon there will be a government announcement informing the entire population that, as of a certain date, they will gradually transition to Bitcoin? Is this how it will unfold?
Pure digital currency is not good. If it coexist with physical cash, then incidents like CrowdStrike may not cripple a nation.
