      He's so bitter and full of resentment while portraying himself as being the only enlightened one in the royal family. His insight is so poor he doesn't see how he's embarrassing himself in front the world. I'm sad for him that he has such terrible advisors who would encourage him to share these things publicly that make him look so foolish. It's like the emperor without any clothes where the emperor's advisors are telling him "you are the best dressed in all the land". Sadly, Harry is believing his advisors. This expert nails it when she identifies that he's stuck in his trauma. She has excellent observations.

      He is a little boy lost in between his parents' mistakes, confused about how he should view his role and his life. William took after Charles in stoicism and acceptance but Harry is lost. Its not just about him being the spare, I think he is genuinly confused. And he is more on the emotional side like Diana which is why he misses her even more. I think the happy Harry was hiding many frustrations throughtout all these years

      @Marlene Richardson,
      I am so glad you found your father's wartime diary.
      I gave my father a cassette recorder in the early 1970s, because he was such a good storyteller. Previously I'd given him a journal, encouraging him to write those stories - he couldn't do it, he had to relate his memoirs aloud.
      After he crossed over, mom found numerous cassettes with his recollections. She transcribed them, and unfortunately edited them. I think I need to hear dad's voice saying what he needed to say at that time. I have a feeling mom edited out some things she didn't want us to hear..... that's her style.
      Although we disagreed a lot, I understand him better now as a 70 year old than I did before.
      Dad loved us by doing things to help us; with mom it's all about meaningless words without any follow-through or putting the moment's thought into action. Later, she will deny ever having stated her intent --- it's all deniable.

Megan, on the other hand, saw it straight away as soon as she met him. You can see her treatment and gestures towards Harry have always been motherly. My mother only hugged me when I was little. 25 years ago, I am almost 50 now, I was very depressed and was talking about suicide. She didn't even hug me then. But I was never angry with my parents for that. They just aren't "hug persons", they are not, but I know they love me a lot. I know they would die to save me. They have their own expression of their love for me. Funny thing is, my mother expresses her love through buying food for me (because after the war, food was scarce), so they give what they crave the most to me as an expression of their love. They don't hug people, they show their love in another way. If only Harry was mature enough to see stuff like that about his family...

She doesnt love Harry. She's ruined his life while pretending she's the best thing he'll ever have. It boils down to him feeling like the loser and finally finding a "hot woman" to prove hes a somebody. He also talks about eating takeaway alone while will had a wife and baby. You need to get what you're entitled to... you need to talk about how this has made you feel ! Show the world your pain. Show the world your worth. What's quite eye-opening is how different the two interviews for the US and UK are. He backtracks on the racism claim in the UK interview but pushes it without saying it for the US audience. Yes, Meghan didn't actually say the Royal family was racist in the Oprah interview, but more or less left the accusation open from Oprahs line of questioning. Meghan even said it would be very damaging for that family member, and they received an award to stop racism in the royal family. So, in Harry's version to the UK, they received an award for something that didn't even happen. I've always been on the fence with this, I respect Harry's decision to get out of the royal family if that is what he wanted. But he stories are not adding up and contradicting each other. In the book, he even described the moment he was told the Queen mother died, is wrong, saying it was warm. But everyone old enough in the UK remembers Harry, William, and Charles were skiing in the Alpes at the time

Their over riding focus is always to not upset their other half and they are hyper vigilant to anything anyone else might say or do that could upset the other half - the reason for this neurotic, lazer-focus ? They have been conditioned over the years to fear the partners being irked, by the sheer amount of bullshit and shenanigans they have to endure whenever it happens. Spending their entire lives walking on eggshells leaves them with a perennial sense of dread, endlessly anxious, angry , tense, bitter, and generally bent out of shape. Hence Harry's demeanour when challenged at all - however gently - in those interviews . He knows mommy is watching snd the hell he'll get behind closed doors if it doesn't go exactly how she's planned and envisaged it. My husband left me when my kids were very small. He had an affair, but he continuously attacked me to everyone we had known among other ways. My Aunt had told me that that is the way that I can know that he is not happy. Harry is doing the same to his family. He is not happy. The thing is that once they run out of more things to say and she is done with him, she will divorce him. I feel that that is a given.

He trained over the next four years to be a pilot and requested to return to Afghanistan in in 2012. The videos we see of him must be in 2008 as he has no wings on his uniform and enters the front seat. Still cant figure out if a gunner alone (without pilot training), is normally allowed or if an exception was made for Harry

    Many people's parents from the last generation were not very affectionate. My father worked a lot and wasn't home very much. And like many fathers who came home tired, my frustrated mother of 4 kids wanted him to discipline us. So affection and fun was not the role of my father. But as an adult, I understand that he was tired when he got home, tried his best to provide for the family and had a lot of stress too. Harry has to grow up, especially now that he is a husband and a parent.

This memory lives on despite Harry being in his late thirties and H&M living in a multi-million dollar mansion. This has to be the most bizarre grudge I've ever heard. I wonder if we'll ever hear about all the money the grinches claimed to be offering to charity before the book was published. Given the book, I think we'd all like to see the bank deposit slip or the cheque stub.

      Beautifully stated! I agree as I watched him grow up too. have always loved both of them. But he has joined the Meghan cult. he is wounded, hypnotized and do not know if he can get out of this or not? I pray he does and takes his children with him before it is too late. Meghan has manipulated him and continues on and that is also called witchcraft by Christians. The children do not need to be part of the paranoia all the time and the anger , hate and jealousy. They hopefully would try to understand they too would have had a rightful place in the family of royals, but it just would not have been exactly the same, as of the eldest child has always had that first choice of being King/Queen. If they cannot and do not have children, then the possibility for the second son or daughter to rule is there but not otherwise. Harry had to have known this, and if not, I do feel sorry for him. Maybe he thought they could' also' have been King one day? It does not work that way. But a working Royal and a title and good pay and a lovely home, and whatever he wanted! Being close with his brother and sister-in-law and father and all the others whom he misses very, very much we can see that in his face! He is miserable and yet cannot figure out what it is he is missing, he not only lost him mom but now dad and brother and sister-in-law and all he loved so much because of Meghan. He hates to lose his children and she probably is holding it over his head? He must break through knowing she cannot have the children as it would be so easy to prove in court she has manipulated and cause paranoia and anger against his own family and he must be afraid for his whole family including his children as being around her is dangerous and she can only see them when a professional psychologist is on the room.

    Excellent analysis every step of the way. Thank you! All of what you say makes sense with the things Harry whines about. For instance, I have felt all along that so many of the events he dramatizes are normal things we have all gone through: our brother pushing us (or even physically fighting), our older siblings ignoring us at school (of course!), our parent not presenting tragic information to us in the way we want to hear it (is there any good way to do so?) because they are going through their own trauma about it, too- and on and on. Harry is definitely stuck at age 13 (an immature 13 at that!) and when interviewed is clearly only capable of spouting the phrases given him by reality TV producers, just as you say. I look forward to more analyses of yours!

That challenges are opportunity for growth. How can he of had so many years of therapy & never been told this? He must simply turn a deaf ear to those who have tried to give him good advice. He simply doesn't want to 'work' at making his life successful.
