For Abyssal Solution 2 (with Altina) -- my team was all neutral/unmerged matching PM1's team, *except* I had a +1 Eir that was messing up the AI somehow - in turn 2, the red dagger unit moves left instead of down. In addition, if Eir's attack is too high, she damages the lance wyvern reinforcement unit in turn 4, preventing Minerva from KOing it. What I did to "fix" the solution (for my team) is to give Eir "Fortress Res 2" sacred seal, and Minerva "Distant Defense 3" sacred seal. The Fortress Res lowers Eir's atk, and the Distant Defense bulks up Minerva to make her less appealing to the red dagger. You could try other options depending on your team. (EDIT - just realized you could try downgrading/unequipping Eir's Swift Sparrow skill, instead of using fortress res...) However, the Dist. Def. means the cleric in turn 5 attacks Peony instead of Minerva - what I did to improvise was give Minerva "Reposition." In turn 5, attack the cleric with Eir as PM1 showed in the video. After that, use Reposition on Peony so she retreats into the lower right corner. The cleric will attack Peony again - she survives this - just kill the cleric using Minerva (and Peony's dance). Then Eir can move out of enemy range by the right-side wall. After that, you can improvise back to following PM1's solution - run away with your units, and remember that Eir can tank a hit or two from Mila. Hope this helps someone!

I'm one of those people who hasn't had to use a guide for in-game content in a long while. I like to bring my own units, develop my own solution, and try to guess roughly what strategy you're going to come up with for the F2P solutions. This one...honestly seemed impossible. I had to bust out my highest whale projects (L!Edelgard, L!Celica, Fallen Julia) for this, and it was still brutal. I had no idea how this could be done with free units. So imagine my surprise when the answer involves an unequipped Young Minerva. I know people say it all the time, but these guides really are incredible, and it's solutions like this that keep me coming back, just to see what you're going to come up with. Keep up the amazing work, PM1.

Thanks for the solution PM1! It appears if you have your mininerva merged once, the Mila* will move differently on turn 9. The solution is basically the same, the sword armor will chase Eir, who has the lowest def, and if he's in Mila's range, she will prioritize buffing him. With 4 fliers, it's basically leading them on a chase around the river

KPBEvan _ i can’t say exactly why but I think he was too busy with irl stuff like college and stuff like that, especially when he’s getting a master’s degree, I’m not sure if he is going to do it during this time but he should think about that later, also there are other F2P sources as well so he should be stress free
This map was so frustating, but finally beating it was SO satisfying. I used Altina, F!Lyon, Kronya and L!Azura. Basically, Lyon stayed in the right hall and defeated the archer and the healer, while Kronya and Altina defeated the rest of the enemies. Finally, the last unit was Mila. She went for Lyon, so I moved him to the end of the hall. When Mila aproached, Kronya attacked her and took some HP with Poison Strike. Then, Lyon attacked, freeing himself from the isolation. Altina repositioned him and Azura danced. I repeated the strategy until Mila had low HP, allowing Altina to defeat her.
@@MrGksarathy I just added the QR seal. Nothing more. He was neutral also. The others: -Kronya: +10 neutral and flowers (Rally atk+, Aether, CC, Desperation, Savage Blow, Poison Strike) Altina: +1 neutral and flowers. Add Reposition and Brazen atk/res seal. -L!Azura: just give her WoM.
I found a slight loophole with Isolation. This allowed me to use Legendary Leif to proc his special galeforce, and after he was done, isolation was long gone and I could do the usual Dancers and Power House combo.
I had no idea what to do on the Abyssal and infernal difficulties. I just looked at guides like yours to help me. I think a Brave Bow Cavalier like Leif or Claude can do it with dancers, but other than that, it’s like the special spiral mages are hard walled unless you merge to high levels.
I did it with tanky cavaliers like Xander and Gunter who I used to debuff the foes. Gunter with his chills and Xander with the double smokes I gave him. Then I had Reinhardt and Gunter take out most of the foes. I used Brave Veronica as well for healing and Hlioskjalf debuffs.
Can confirm that L!Leif with Death Blow seal can solo Infernal with 3 dancers. Mila takes a lot of chipping but Leif just flurries her and repositions out of range.
For those who have +Atk +10 Reinhardt (Mine also has 3 dragonflowers), just run Death Blow 2 in the A slot with empty Sacred Seal. Those without the attack flower might need Atk +1, but probably not. Thanks so much for putting together these amazing guides as always! We appreciate you, PM1!

I am normally a lurker in youtube, but I had to stop by to express my gratitude for your efforts PM1 cuz I saw how frustrated you were in Twitter. I've been a fan since forever so thanks! The team I used to beat this map is: Your typical AOE Ophelia, Your favorite blue flying legendary dancer, Legendary Leif, and Bridal Micaiah. Dominance was pretty much my key to destroy this map since it completely invalidates these stupidly inflated stats.
Theres a chance that your eir has more speed than normal the red mage at the end wont attack first and instead the lance unit attacks. leaving the mage to attack minerva killing her. To circumvent and be able to follow the guide give minerva brazen atk/res 1,2 or 3 to make it imposible to kill her and finish the round.
Unfortunately it doesn't work for Brazen Atk/Res 3, as she gets the +atk too soon and she ohko the axe cav and it ruins the placenent of the firesweep archer.
Probably not. He said on Twitter it only took him 8 hours because he insisted on doing it without Altina or a Brave hero (essentially, he put a self imposed challenge). Which was kinda pointless, because he gave a solution with Altina anyway. Plus, I managed to beat the Infernal one by myself with Horse Emblem and a Chill strategy (Hríd, Gunnthrá, NY! Laegjarn and Bernadetta). With Laegjarn chilling three stats, Gunnthrá and Hríd having their own debuffs and Bernadetta with Chill Atk, Mila gets just enough Def to not Isolate Laegjarn. On Abyssal, that's another story. And that's why I'm here.
@@branlopgar Don't really see how that's pointless. Altina isn't available anymore, so it would be unfair for people who use it in future or just started playing.
@@branlopgar Yea, i dont see it as pointless. Unfortunately, she was limited so not everyone got Altina so it'd be unfair to not do a method without her seeing as many ppl will have missed out. Not to mention all the idiots who foddered/featherd her off cuz they were salty their precious Sothis/Edelgard didnt win but i dont really count them since that's their own fault for doing that. PM1 isn't obligated to do these soultions tho so im grateful for him looking out for everyone. =) i just hope he doesn't push himself too hard tho.

Thanks for the hard work, as always. In the first solution I used a plus 1 Mininerva with distant defense and it worked just fine, the end just changes a bit but it basically over at that point.

In the first infernal solution you mentioned using distant def if Minerva is merged. But for the double healing to work you need close def. I have mine merged and had to use close def for it to work. Wanted just to mention it
Impressive as always! I'm experiencing full body pain because I took a break from FEH when Minerva and Ashnard were added and I can't get them with grails yet so I can't really do these but I will 100% be back the next time!
Oh my god, thank you so much for this! While I managed to beat infernal on my own (B!Ike+B!Lucina stronk), I always got overwhelmed at Abyssal no matter what I did. Following your video I couldn't do the 1st solution at all because I don't have Atk/Spd Bond upgraded, but the 2nd was very much possible thanks to your strategy. I did kind of struggle since I had merged Altina, Mininerva and Eir which changed the ai movement a bit, but with a few changes I was able to do it. Once again, thank you and I hope you get some well deserved rest!
I’ve been trying to beat her without any dancer and my strongest team but that isolation is sooo annoying. That strategy with Y Minerva was outstanding Pheonixmaster1. Cool.

For the Abyssal Solution with Altina, if you have a +1 Minerva, remove Dragoon Shield and give her Atk+3 and Spd/Def+2, and give Peony HP+4 (I think HP+3 is fine, but I was desperate beacuse the extra HP for Minerva was messing Sparkling Boost)
Thanks PM1. This is the first Abyssal I couldn't clear with B!Camilla and her 3 dancers. So I took your idea of adding Altina and Peony, along with B!Cam and L!Azura. It worked!
That abyssal map was nasty... even with your guide. When I got to just mila and the red knight left, I had to take out the knight first because mila moved up instead of to the right, then I had to play circles around that bottom right wall block using eir to debuff mila and mininerva every few turns with draconic aura and the healing from sparkling boost to whittle away milas health until she was in range for altina to finish her off. I'm fairly certain the ai movement was different at that point due to my mininerva having a +1 merge (2 extra health, 1 extra speed and 2 extra def).

Thanks for the abyssal solutions. For some reason tho my minerva wasnt able to survive the cleric so I gave her renewal 3 seal and it worked. Also had to play a bit differently as altina was getting season bonuses

Thank you so much for this solution! I managed to beat Infernal with Winter Sothis, Legendary Azura, Altina and Brave Veronica, but I just couldn't beat the Abyssal.
Just had a bit of struggle with the Abyssal Solution 2, because my Altina is neutral IV +2, so she tank better but she did not get into Brazen Range. At turn 3, i put Drive Atk 2 seal on my Eir, i moved her one space upward then go with Altina, then she got enough atk to kill the red mage (the same thing as you did, but i put Eir BEFORE attacking the red mage, it's that simple). Then, just need to Dance Eir and replace her and follow the solution. Another great job, thanks for the solution and for the hard work.
Nice. I was able to use my fully merged Reinhardt and follow your Abyssal strategy with a similiar build (with the exception of Joint Drive Atk in his C Slot) by using Savage Blow in his seal slot. I was also able to get away with having Itsuki using a base Atk/Spd Bond (possibly thanks to both Peony and Drive Atk Reinhardt because I forgoed a +Atk A Skill on Itsuki: He was already at 56 Atk due to a +1 merge and +2 Dragonflowers) and despite the healer attacking Mini!nerva instead of Peony (since I'm using a merged one) when that part came up, I was still able to flawlessly follow your next steps to get the win.
No wonder it took a while than usual. Good thing I always wait a day before becoming concerned. Also, I’m not sure if that extra tip section was just added but I’m glad it’s there in case I have something to warn people about.
Hey PM1!Thanks for the solution! I should point out too that for abyssal 1 solution, the green tank unit also needs speed to be able to NOT be doubled by the cleric, otherwise the cleric will target them and not Peony. Still, everyone should have miniNerva and she does the job perfectly. Thank you again!
So today I learned the lesson of just how much an accidental ally support can mess things up. I was having issues around the point where the cleric attacks Minerva. For some reason my Minerva would also get healed along with Peony after that attack and that's bad because if she's healed prematurely then Altina gets healed too early which causes her to be bumped out of vantage range which messes up how much damage she does and throws her special off. Things continue to go off the rails as that severely messes up where Mila decides to go. I triple checked my units and it took me ages figuring out what I did wrong until I realized I ally supported Peony and Eir for another Abyssal solution and they still had a B support. I would have never thought that their support would domino effect like it had. I've also learned that I'm paying dearly for merging my Itsuki. Thank you for providing multiple solutions. You're, as always, the real MVP
Spent some time adjusting the second Abyssal solution because my Peony and Minerva were +1. Having a plus one Peony really messes some stuff up, here's a few tips to help you out (Mine is plus spd but idk if that matters). The biggest thing is that instead of running HP+3 run Res+1 this will allow you to live at low hp but won't screw Eir's healing and cause a death. After the first Altina and Mila confrontation you are going to do some improv. You want the red knight to stay east and want to continously have Mila try to engage Altina on the tile west on the tile bordering the east river (with peony buffs). Then retreat to lure her back to east side and repeat till she's dead. Once she's dead use flier shennagins to kill the knight; having reposition so peony can attack and then get out the way speeds this up a bit.
I forgot I had ally support between eir and peony until 33:19 where Mila suddenly went up instead of right. Everything else is the same though so the solution still got me to the end with no inheritance, so thank you. As always there's one tiny thing I have different but in this case it got me to the end and would've been easy enough to remove if I couldn't deal with it.
For those with a highly merged mininerva for the 1st Abyssal solution, use Pirate Darros, unequip everything and just give him Speed +3 and Fort Def 3 (2 should work but i only have 3 for seal so can't exactly test it). The AI will move exactly the same. Edit: Also Thank You so much PheonixMaster for these guides! Definitely wish you the best and don't forget to rest! I don't mind being patient if it means you won't overexert yourself!

This was my situation in Infernal because I had Eir with some dragonflowers. The Brazen Atk/Res lets Minerva survive and counterattack that red mage.

Which was kinda pointless, because he gave a solution with Altina anyway. Plus, I managed to beat the Infernal one by myself with Horse Emblem and a Chill strategy (Hríd, Gunnthrá, NY! Laegjarn and Bernadetta). With Laegjarn chilling three stats, Gunnthrá and Hríd having their own debuffs and Bernadetta with Chill Atk, Mila gets just enough Def to not Isolate Laegjarn. On Abyssal, that's another story. And that's why I'm here.

Thanks for the hard work, as always. In the first solution I used a plus 1 Mininerva with distant defense and it worked just fine, the end just changes a bit but it basically over at that point.

In the first infernal solution you mentioned using distant def if Minerva is merged. But for the double healing to work you need close def. I have mine merged and had to use close def for it to work. Wanted just to mention it

Impressive as always! I'm experiencing full body pain because I took a break from FEH when Minerva and Ashnard were added and I can't get them with grails yet so I can't really do these but I will 100% be back the next time!
Oh my god, thank you so much for this! While I managed to beat infernal on my own (B!Ike+B!Lucina stronk), I always got overwhelmed at Abyssal no matter what I did. Following your video I couldn't do the 1st solution at all because I don't have Atk/Spd Bond upgraded, but the 2nd was very much possible thanks to your strategy. I did kind of struggle since I had merged Altina, Mininerva and Eir which changed the ai movement a bit, but with a few changes I was able to do it. Once again, thank you and I hope you get some well deserved rest!

I’ve been trying to beat her without any dancer and my strongest team but that isolation is sooo annoying. That strategy with Y Minerva was outstanding Pheonixmaster1. Cool.

For the Abyssal Solution with Altina, if you have a +1 Minerva, remove Dragoon Shield and give her Atk+3 and Spd/Def+2, and give Peony HP+4 (I think HP+3 is fine, but I was desperate beacuse the extra HP for Minerva was messing Sparkling Boost)

That abyssal map was nasty... even with your guide. When I got to just mila and the red knight left, I had to take out the knight first because mila moved up instead of to the right, then I had to play circles around that bottom right wall block using eir to debuff mila and mininerva every few turns with draconic aura and the healing from sparkling boost to whittle away milas health until she was in range for altina to finish her off. I'm fairly certain the ai movement was different at that point due to my mininerva having a +1 merge (2 extra health, 1 extra speed and 2 extra def).

Thanks for the abyssal solutions. For some reason tho my minerva wasnt able to survive the cleric so I gave her renewal 3 seal and it worked. Also had to play a bit differently as altina was getting season bonuses

Just had a bit of struggle with the Abyssal Solution 2, because my Altina is neutral IV +2, so she tank better but she did not get into Brazen Range. At turn 3, i put Drive Atk 2 seal on my Eir, i moved her one space upward then go with Altina, then she got enough atk to kill the red mage (the same thing as you did, but i put Eir BEFORE attacking the red mage, it's that simple). Then, just need to Dance Eir and replace her and follow the solution.

Nice. I was able to use my fully merged Reinhardt and follow your Abyssal strategy with a similiar build (with the exception of Joint Drive Atk in his C Slot) by using Savage Blow in his seal slot. I was also able to get away with having Itsuki using a base Atk/Spd Bond (possibly thanks to both Peony and Drive Atk Reinhardt because I forgoed a +Atk A Skill on Itsuki: He was already at 56 Atk due to a +1 merge and +2 Dragonflowers) and despite the healer attacking Mini!nerva instead of Peony (since I'm using a merged one) when that part came up, I was still able to flawlessly follow your next steps to get the win.
Oh, and I was still able to utilize Mini!nerva to tank despite using a base Fortress Def seal.
No wonder it took a while than usual. Good thing I always wait a day before becoming concerned. Also, I’m not sure if that extra tip section was just added but I’m glad it’s there in case I have something to warn people about.

I should point out too that for abyssal 1 solution, the green tank unit also needs speed to be able to NOT be doubled by the cleric, otherwise the cleric will target them and not Peony.

So today I learned the lesson of just how much an accidental ally support can mess things up. I was having issues around the point where the cleric attacks Minerva. For some reason my Minerva would also get healed along with Peony after that attack and that's bad because if she's healed prematurely then Altina gets healed too early which causes her to be bumped out of vantage range which messes up how much damage she does and throws her special off. Things continue to go off the rails as that severely messes up where Mila decides to go. I triple checked my units and it took me ages figuring out what I did wrong until I realized I ally supported Peony and Eir for another Abyssal solution and they still had a B support. I would have never thought that their support would domino effect like it had.
I've also learned that I'm paying dearly for merging my Itsuki. Thank you for providing multiple solutions. You're, as always, the real MVP

Spent some time adjusting the second Abyssal solution because my Peony and Minerva were +1. Having a plus one Peony really messes some stuff up, here's a few tips to help you out (Mine is plus spd but idk if that matters). The biggest thing is that instead of running HP+3 run Res+1 this will allow you to live at low hp but won't screw Eir's healing and cause a death. After the first Altina and Mila confrontation you are going to do some improv. You want the red knight to stay east and want to continously have Mila try to engage Altina on the tile west on the tile bordering the east river (with peony buffs). Then retreat to lure her back to east side and repeat till she's dead. Once she's dead use flier shennagins to kill the knight; having reposition so peony can attack and then get out the way speeds this up a bit.

This was one hell of a map. LEdelgard, LLucina and LCelica (+Peony) were my approach. Took really a while though considering I used quite good units

I forgot I had ally support between eir and peony until 33:19 where Mila suddenly went up instead of right. Everything else is the same though so the solution still got me to the end with no inheritance, so thank you. As always there's one tiny thing I have different but in this case it got me to the end and would've been easy enough to remove if I couldn't deal with it.
For those with a highly merged mininerva for the 1st Abyssal solution, use Pirate Darros, unequip everything and just give him Speed +3 and Fort Def 3 (2 should work but i only have 3 for seal so can't exactly test it). The AI will move exactly the same.
