I have always said the suite beds need a waist belt to keep you from swaying and rolling all over the place and yes.. ear plugs are a must.
They need an all window car like they have in the US fancy trains.

Thanks for the honest review about what it’s like to sleep on a train. I’ve wondered as well. They could drive more slowly at night for better sleep, since it’s more about the journey than getting to the destination.

Oh my gosh I think I'd love the swaying during sleeping ha, I'm like an infant, more movement the better I sleep. But I would have to sleep with a sound machine, any and everywhere I sleep, my husband snores a little and I can't stand to hear that so I've gotten accustomed to a sound machine always. That train looks magical. What a beautiful trip you're on. What a beautiful country. Its definitely on our bucket list

A beautiful experience. I would love to do this. Went to the site. It’s over $5k for 3 days for 2 people. I can take almost 2 vacations for that. However, I am sure this is quite a lovely experience!

Currently planning a trip for next spring to some favorite places (Rome, Capri, Naples) and then to Puglia where we have not yet been. Will base in Matera and Polignano a Mar. I was hoping the price of the train tickets would be included in the video but I didn’t hear it. I did a quick google and it appears the route you took was a 5 day trip for a bit over $4800.
