I would take WR DK Metcalf in a heartbeat - IF we could get him for an affordable salary and only have to give up a 2025 1st Round pick and possibly a 5th Round pick. And, you could throw OT Dan Moore in as part of the deal also. Combine him with our two young receivers Pickens and Wilson and our two explosive RB's and a new re-vamped (and vastly improved) OL and Defense, this team is ready to dominate. I would NOT try to move Naji Harris. Also, we need to start using Darnell Washing ton as a receiver much more often.
Use najee out wide too
Most definitely need to use D. Washington in the passing game (especially in the red zone). He has good hands

I am not for trading away a depth piece. someone get injured he can at least hold the fort down for a few games. Listening to john lynch on McAfee they arent getting rid of Ayuk. I think some of the guys we already have are going to surprise and step up. Like in the 2000s Nate washington was a surprise. They went into that year with the same narrative of WR room and they won the superbowl. Just saying it was the same scenario not that we are winning a superbowl this year that would be nice though.

Considering they won 10 games with TruBrewSki 🍺 Mase, and Mini hand Kenny I see a potential 13 maybe 14 win season with another top WR on board.

For every bit of interest the Steelers have in trading for a WR, there had to be another team with the same amount of interest in trading a WR. It takes two to dance buddy.

One thing you forgot to mention about Jalen Warren the difference between him and Harris is jalen's vision he sees the field way better and I said that from day one his vision is crap in the NFL
I would love to trade for DK metcalf or Chris Godwin I’ve always thought Godwin is an elite receiver and he’s still pretty young I wouldn’t mind D-Hop either.
i agree on the Najee vs Warren take, i will add this though short yardage guys are much easier to come by in this league than the explosive and shifty backs, i like Najee but his lack of explosiveness to this point doesn't justify a big pay increase or much guarantees in my personal opinion
You can't just look at a player and say I we're not going to keep them cuz you can't block even though he is a very top-notch tight end muth it's a very good tight end Just got to get him the ball more often I think he could be even better than Andrews is for the Ravens
Dan Moore Jr. Is a perfect trade asset. We already got our two starters. The same goes for Guards so Nate Herbig is also a good asset to have as well to trade.
James is the best backup center, and Isaac is an excellent backup if he loses the starting position. I think khan is working with Jacksonville for WR help since they drafted Brain Thomas. They have a large receiver group, No trading involved.
I think Roman Wilson can be like a Tyler Lockett typa guy for Russ.

It’s going to be 90 % or more here. You have multiple wr’s that are basically a deep threat on this team.
If they add a Metcalf then Wilson will rarely ever see a pass beyond 20 yards
Having a package for Justin Fields is not the same thing as being a rotational player.
I can not imagine the Steelers using rotational QBs, as that would not allow your starter to get into a rhythm.
Will they have a package for Fields that they occasionally use in specific circumstances? Yeah, probably.
But I would not expect them to be consistently rotating between Wilson and Fields.

What no one wants to admit is neither of the are every down back harris could be but he only plays at 90% until he thinks he might loose his spot and Warren won't last long on his own it's a two back system the reason Warren looks good is because he is the change of pace back they really need both to have a truly dominant running game
We can have the best o-line, RBs & WRs but if Arthur Smith doesn't use them to their strengths, this will get ugly quick.

Fields was a no brainer, Harris a calculated gamble,. Half of those eligible for the 5th year option were declined this year, not all are busts, it is just teams evaluating players and CAPS in different ways.
As a long time Steelers fan, I cannot understand the criticism of RB Harris. He carries and runs over defenders sans blockers. With blockers, he and Warren can control the game via the clock. What a tandem they can be!

I think that Muth will be on the trade block if he’s not able to block. I think that he will put in the effort this off-season. But if he’s not capable, they will try to get something for him before he becomes a free agent.

@iankronenberg329 I don't necessarily disagree with your assessment, but our new coordinator will be run first, with big personnel that push people around. With that being said, do we actually need a major wide receiver upgrade at this point? Muth will be used more as a receiver this year, and Wilson might be enough to compliment the offense. George might not be all that happy being doubled this year, but everyone else will thrive.
I still say we should pick up Metcalf to start opposite Pickens. Our offense would be tough to beat. Couple that with our defense, we would be a contender with like 5 other teams. The AFC is a beast of a conference.
Warren is not a fulltime RB. He would fail. He does not see stacked boxes like Najee does so yea it appers he is leaps and bounds bound better. Look at tony pollard got the fulltime gig and it was a huge mistake by the cowboys. They need each other. There is no way warren closes out the games najee did when they knew he was getting the ball and he still plowed through. Thats not warrens game. I am sick of hearing this. We need them both. It is a true ying/yang.
