Do you know anything about the pods the plants put off? My father rescued one from an office building and it’s like 60 years old and massive. However, we live in Oklahoma and don’t know how to pollinate it. I read somewhere it took a specific beetle to pollinate but I also read that you can plant some of the seeds found in the spathe. Is any of this accurate? We need help keeping this beautiful plant thriving.
So beautiful
Thank you for sharing. I learned a lot. I have been looking for info on growing these outdoors.
welcome. :)

I tried to search re this. However, I have yet to see a seed pod or philodendron selloum seeds. I'll keep this in mind & share if I find any.
@@FamilyGardenAdventuresPH thank you so much!
I can't imagine how big your plant is!!! 60 years old...wow...I thought my golden pothos was old, a little over 30 years old ..
The selloum shown here is from a resort in PH. Not really sure of its age though. Mine is grown in a pot and is less than a decade old.
