I have one. Holds ice for a day or two. Definitely not 5 days. I drilled holes in the lid and filled with spray foam. Can’t wait to see how long it lasts now!

Interesting test, I'm considering buying this cooler for myself, which is how I found your video. I think the biggest flaw in your test is that you only added a small amount of ice as compared to the size of the cooler. To be a fair test, if you had filled the cooler 1/2 way with ice instead of basically just not much more than covering the bottom, I'm quite sure the ice would have lasted a lot longer. Anyway, thanks for the review.

I has this cooler. I did couple of tests with this cooler. The main problem is the isolation on top and bottom of the cooler. I will try isolate the top upper cover with reflective buble aluminume sheet also do the same at the bottom.

Thanks for sharing. Maybe an oversize hot/cold food bag if you could find one it fits in.

Blue bunny ice cream containers make great ice blocks.

I have one. It’s a good deal, but was disappointed that it doesn’t keep ice even close to what is advertised. Ice lasts a day like yours, water stays cold for an additional day, slightly cool by day three. I keep it in my truck for work and I park it in a garage at the end of the day. It’s peak summer heat so I do try and factor that in, but either way it’s definitely no YETI length ice keep as it’s trying to say.

Sorry to hear that, only thing I do to try and make it last longer is put some ice in it the night before. then fresh ice in the day I’m leaving. Hoping that already being cold the new ice will last longer

Have you tried some Yeti ice or another comparable brand? I personally drop some frozen water bottles and some cheap Igloo block ice to cool the inside of the cooler hours before using and drop in already cold drinks. Here its 100 out since June so to me, no matter the brand one will be hard pressed for max retention.

How much did you pay for this cooler?

I paid 26.95 from Amazon Warehouse through the regular Amazon website (just do search for "Amazon Warehouse" on-site). I am seeing it for 49.99 new right now but check the warehouse.

I bought a Coleman Chiller 60 qt wheels and not a fan of the hinges. I feel they will break within a couple of years if not, less. They will get the job done, but that is why they are a fraction of the cost of a Yeti or similar brand.

Some break and some don’t. I have an old school plastic Coleman that was passed to me from father-in-law. So many brands out like Yeti now with similar design for half the price. Great options nowadays.
