Paul, I may be a bit biased 🤣 but this is an absolutely fantastic app. The range and depth of the sounds you can create with it are amazing. You’ve transformed Rings to a whole new level. Congratulations!
Oooh! This reminds me of the Macro Oscillator 2 in miRack which I understand was based on the Mutable Instruments module. It's my goto module for sound sources in miRack. This is going to be tremendous, Paul! Love it. Thanks! 👍👍
Yeah, I loved the sound of the original so this was a no brainer for me. There are other implementations, but I wanted to do it justice as a standalone app (Mac compatilble too).
@@PaultheMusicMan Cool! Be buying it as soon as it drops. :) Your sequencer/modulator inclusion is inspired. With ShiftBud filling in for Marbles, I’m gradually recreating my rack one module at a time inside AUM! Love to see you do some of Emilies’ other modules… Beads, or Stages maybe?
PAUL! It's good to hear your voice sir! So... this is what you've been cooking all this time!! You've somehow managed to come up with a synth that intersects exactly with the kind of tones that I'm most interested in with regards to synthesis as a Digitone fan, completely out of the blue! RingsFX... just WOW! so many compelling sounds coming out of this instrument. Congratulations for creating an absolutely awesome sound generator that actually evokes emotion, which is an elusive thing to accomplish. Modal synthesis: sounds like proper FM tones made accessible with such ease, that one feels like an AWESOME candidate for parameter locking with an elektron sequencer or Drambo sequencer. Sympathetic synthesis: instantly sounds convincing and evokes emotions for me. String synthesis: sounds interesting with a lot of potential too! FM synthesis: seems very efficient at quickly accessing usable FM tones. Chord synthesis: sounds interesting too but the clicking in the example shown felt distracting to me. StringVerb: my first impression is that it didn't feel like it was super usable as it occupies so much sonic space (just a first impression!). Synthesizer: AWESOME! beautiful sounds showcased. I've got so much more to say but I think that's a good place to stop haha :D
Fabulous. Mutable Instruments is my favorite set of modules in my Eurorack system. I am really looking forward to this app when it becomes available! 😊
Caught a vid from the Sound Test Room yesterday and eagerly awaiting this synth. I love it so far and feel that it will be my go to for a long while!!!
Great achievement again Paul. well done. I does also remind me on the String synthesis of the app in Logic Pro (forgot the name as i have not been able to use Logic Pro for a long time now due that my MAC went down) Yet this is a very very well designed app again as you manage to do every time. 🎉. Kind healthy musical regards from out of Finland ❤🎉
Like all 4pocket products, I fail to be unimpressed. only problem I have is what shall I choose next, the apps are amazing and the price is very affordable. I think RingsFX will be my next or should I get evolver ahhhh maybe both lol! Nice work Paul and I sincerelly hope your health improves and you recover 100%
Thanks Chris, I'm slowly returning to normality after my radiotherapy, which really knocked me for six this time around. I think both RingsFX and Evolver are both great apps in their own rights, but RingsFX is a newer app so perhaps it has the edge!!
This is looks tremendous Paul! Well done! I cannot wait to start making music with this instrument. I really think the pulse/value sequencer is a giant leap forward. Such an insta-buy for me. It looks like such a quick & elegant way to access & adjust a huge range of sounds. I fell compelled to ask for one thing I'd love to see added - might there be a way to add smooth random to the lfo shapes? smooth random is something I'm finding myself using a lot in my modular work. I know there is the RND in the mod-matrix for each key press, but having a key-press (& pulse) independent smooth random would help shape sounds over time. Can I also confirm that for each pulse sequence lane we can have independent length & time division/multiplication? Again, so excited & need to spread the word about this one to all the synth enthusiasts!
The pulse sequencer simply controls a stream of white noise by firing off pulses in time with the beat. The speed and length of the pulse is based on a fixed divider which is an overall setting and not per lane. This is due to the way the original module was written, as it only allows changes to certain parameters when a beat/strum occurs.
Best of luck on your health, Paul. All the best.

Thanks David, I really appreciate your input again on the manual mate.
Finally a proper unfolded/uncluttered Rings!:) I hope you'll continue on Mutable odyssey:) big thnx Paul!!!
A dream synth , thx 2 devs like you , the ipad has become very mature🎹

Are you foreshadowing a potential @spidericemidasiosmusicprod preset pack? lol. I truly hope so. Cheers.
Actually excited for this one. The real Rings is my fave hardware module, and this seems pretty good.

The pulse sequencer and mod matrix are where I'll be headed when this is mine 😃
Yes mate, the pulse sequencer is really nice... not a conventional note sequencer but something that fits in with the synthesis methods available!

This looks and sounds great Paul. *(hope you're well and wishing you the best)
this looks awesome, can't wait to mess around with it!
Tremendous! Looking forward to this one…
Wow - this looks fantastic. Beautiful and elegant design and packed with features and controls, and sounds limitless. Can't wait to try it out!
Great Layout and Design for a marvelous Sound Engine. Thanks Paul
Fave dev strikes again ! Congrats Paul 👍🏼 I’m really excited about playing around with this one.
Congratulations on the new gem! 🤩This is the best Rings implementation ever!
Lovely work on this Paul, awesome tones !
Very interesting, reminds me a bit of the "Object" modelling synthesizer from Reason Studios. Great work!
Thanks Paul … RingsFX looks and sounds great.
This sounds gorgeous. It looks like you have done a nice job with the user interface too.
Thanks, I hate green but for some reason this just worked!
Beautifully done! This looks and sounds amazing
Congratulation Paul 😊This looks and sounds great.Looking forward to get this app
Very nice Paul! 😎👍🏼
I just want to mention you can also have all the Mutable modules fully patchable in MiRack. Still nice.
Looks like another winner! Kudos

@@PaultheMusicManThis is great info & makes good sense to me. Again, this is a knockout instrument from you. can't wait to use it!
Hi Paul, this looks great but is it actually happening, I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
Freaking amazing 👾
Hey! So it could work as effect?
Sure can!
@@PaultheMusicMan I'm excited!
Absolutely amazing… when will it be released ?
With any luck next week some time.
Brilliant sounds Paul, it looks like an amazing app. When is it being released?
Not sure yet, but won't be long. Hopefully some time next week.
@@PaultheMusicMan Amazing, thanks! 😀👍
Can’t wait…..
As usual, genius
Looks like another instabuy 😊
👏👏👏
I can’t find it 😢
You won't find it, this is a pre-release preview! ;)
also pls pls! add a MPE tab/feature:)
What is MPE tab? It supports MPE as it stands.
oh! thats great!:) "MPE tab" - a tab where user can assign MPE cc's to Ring params @@PaultheMusicMan
