In the musical, Mr. Beauregarde actually wanted to exploit his own daughter, and Mrs. Teevee was actually pleased with how her son turned out. Can you imagine if all the parents actually planned these terrible fates for their own children beforehand?

What!?!?!? No Way...The Musical version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory/Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory where those two parents actually liked what their children ended up in???? That's nuts. BUt to Mr. Beauregarde's credit, I do think seeing a female turned into a blueberry must be exciting to see that happen.
@@SuperFlashDriver Mr. Beauregarde actually suggested Violet to appear in fashion even though she was expanding and turning well violet; he was only mad after she exploded. Mrs. Teevee was pleased to see her son shrink down to size, reminding her of when he was a baby; she even sung along to Vidiots (yet she was terrified about what all the other naughty children went through). What is with these parents?! The other parents from what I remember were not as pleased.

@@SuperFlashDriver you are very welcome. I did not ever watch the musical, but I watched these parts and they were surprising and shocking. The Oompa Loompas even sang about Violet's juicy parts for a feast. It was sick and not a good sick!
@@brandoncolis3841 Yeah, it's creepy and uncanny to some, but I guess the musical is somewhat based off the book as well as the 1971 movie so.
This is obviously fiction, but I do wonder, would there be a difference between what we see happen to Violet here in the movie and what turning into a blueberry would look like if someone actually put a spell on you that turned you into a big plump blueberry. If Violet's dad was elated over the transformation, then I'd imagine that would make for a shocking twist, almost as if Violet signing the bottom of that poster was her signing an agreement to be a permanent blueberry.
