Bill didn't even promote anything. He just came on to BS about sports with Rich. That's the kind of guy he is. He's the best. I'll forever be a Bill Burr fan.
Bill's the best. Passionate about his teams, pretty knowledgeable about so many sports and always willing to just drop by without promoting anything. Love the guy!
I ran sound for Bill Burr in 2002 when he did a comedy show at the Michigan League to a crowd of maybe 50. He had a full head of hair and couldn’t have been a nicer guy
Bill Burr is conversant in sports to a high level. He talked about The Wolverines, LSU, the Red Sox, the Yankees, the Patriots coach and The Titans coach and even got a go Bruins at the end. o
I wouldn't dislike Ohio State as much (even as a Michigan alum) if they didn't refer to themselves as "THE" Ohio State University. That's ridiculous and pretentious.
It's more about the abbreviation nowadays I think. tOSU. There's probably another ten OSU's out there in CFB between D1-D3. But, even as an Ohio native I think it is pretentious too. I wish they'd drop it. Thee Ohio State... Like, is there another? 🤦♂️
Bill Burr is great, says it as he believes it. I was in the group of people who believed that the MI cheating scandal was a massive advantage and had crossed the line. Of course as more news came out I changed my opinion. Sports at almost any level are trying to gain any competitive advantage that they can. The NIL deals while great for the athletes, are they going to create power schools with drastically more funding than others? Is that too a competitive advantage?
Bill Burr said something that I’ve been saying ever since these 4th down analytics took over football: the analytics are correct mathematically but they don’t take into account the context of the game. No analytic will take into account the possibility that Washington can score on both possessions around halftime and tie up the game when Michigan went for that 4th down. Bill’s so right.
Harbaugh is such a great guy. I am a Chicago and Michigan fan and a big time Jim Harbaugh fan. I remember when Ditka went carzy on him after an interception against the Vikings. It was an audiable Jim called. The whole thing was horrible. I also remember Capitan Come Back season with Indianapolis. They were a dropped interception away from going to the Super Bowl. And how to forget his loss in the superbowl as a coach against his brother failing to score from the 2 yard line. Now it seems finally, life has pay him back. He is coming to the NFL a super star winner and there is no doubt for me he is going to be an NFL champion. I hope its with Chicago though chances are slim. Go Blue.
The Michigan Panthers! The dark days of pro sports in Michigan. Before the Red Wings won 4 Stanley Cups, The Pistons 2 championships, the Tigers winning a Worldseries...etc.
As an Ohio State fan I can say that I never root against Michigan unless they are playing Ohio State. I think it's great that they're finally back in the rivalry because they turned into Northwestern to us for quite a few years.
I’m same way.. Michigan first then I root big ten. Having the rivalry back is a great thing for the teams, the big ten, and for the fans. Ohio will be back on top again. Too good of a team not to be
Bill Burr is awesome. I love how he sees through people's nonsense and gets to the point. pretty impressive that he knows about Anthony Carter going to the USFL and winning the first championship with Hebert.
IDGAF about college football, and I have no idea what he's talking about when he's going on about the old teams and players, but he still makes it great to listen to.
Saw bill in the rose bowl and he said what’s up to me, funny he said his favorite Wolverine is Anthony Carter, my father gave my first two initials AC for Anthony Carter!
Rich, I'm not gonna lie, after finding out that every single coach and every single AD in the entire Big 10 was on Petitte's conference call crying about "player safety" and trying to get us banned, I hate ALL of them as much as I hate Ohio State. I wish there were a way for every single team currently in the Big 10 to go 0-12 and cancel football. I hope the Shoe literally falls into a giant sinkhole. You can be a gracious winner if you want, but after the Stalions crap? I'm just here for the ruination.
I love Bill's takes and am just commenting to check if RUclips still lets the muslim mfing bot answer comments. Been denouncing that terrorshet promoter
First off, bring BB every week!!!! Finally blue brings it home (passive fan of Michigan too)... and about bill belichick, yeah if its over im sad too, yet 2001 through 2021 they won the division 17 times and made the playoffs 18 times. Made the superbowl 9 times, won 3 out of 4 years on their first run, and 3 out of 5 years, and on that last one played 4 out 5 superbowls. I wouldnt say Im sad, I would say I am nostalgic that football will never be as good as the patriots made it for those of us who were fans of other teams, but couldnt take our eyes off of the screen when the ball was in Bradys hands...
Let's say what Rich Eisen says about Michigan punishment. Recall OSU had this, for a few players getting free tattoos: Three years of probation from December 20, 2011 through December 19, 2014; Ohio State must forfeit nine scholarships during the three-year probation period; Former coach Jim Tressel was hit with a show-cause penalty of five years for committing violations,..
The NCAA wasn’t neutered back then and that’s alil different. Not in scope but in the rules. The punishment for payments to players is defined in the rules. Scouting violations are not really kinda a grey area
@@mich9876543 true. Michigan has unsettled NCAA scouting violations to deal with as well though. The self-imposed 3 game suspension will help them some. It's clearly in the NCAA rules that recording other teams signals with technology is not allowed. 50/50 odds of Harbaugh pulling a Pete Carrol rather than dealing with NCAA sanctions. Also, I think he may just be fed up with NCAA not being consistent. Which I don't blame him. NFL has its flaws but it's better-run than NCAA.
JJ wanted to go for that. Coach wanted to punt. The kids felt they could donit so why no let em prove themselves. They were feeling so confident in their agility.
Bill didn't even promote anything. He just came on to BS about sports with Rich. That's the kind of guy he is. He's the best. I'll forever be a Bill Burr fan.
Perfectly said. His “just talking” was better than most on-purpose comedy.
@@righteousduke2704 Yeah that’s a real comedian. Him talking normally is comedy.
Ya try finding a "comedian" that's doesn't promote something every chance they get.
💯
The same Bill that interrupted Theo on theos own podcast to promote his special in the most ugly way possible?
Bill burr is the man, glad he comes on the show occasionally.
I love that Bill Burr just takes over any talk show he goes on 😂
Hosts know this, so they know they'll get some good content they don't have to work for. A win-win
tru
@user-tn8uu2cu8g Switch out "Allah" and "Muhammed" for "Bill Burr" and you're correct.

Even tho Bill is a comedian, I love hearing him talk sports 😂👏🏼

I would pay a small ransom if I could watch NFL games with Bill Burr and Doug Stanhope as the commentators
@@cap2205 hellsyes! It would be SO awesome, though I'm not sure my guts would survive.
A lot of his comedy routine is sports.. best of both worlds
Bill's the best. Passionate about his teams, pretty knowledgeable about so many sports and always willing to just drop by without promoting anything. Love the guy!
Best comedian in the game
I ran sound for Bill Burr in 2002 when he did a comedy show at the Michigan League to a crowd of maybe 50. He had a full head of hair and couldn’t have been a nicer guy
Brockman was on his best behavior not wanting to get yelled at again lol
Haha barely heard a peep out of him 😂
Bill Burr is a national treasure. Absolutely no filter and I love it.
As a Penn State alum, I can't even fathom PSU winning a National Championship. Congrats Michigan 🎉
@user-tn8uu2cu8g So, if Penn State fans all convert to Islam, you promise them a natty?
I still can’t believe Michigan did it! You guys will get one tho. Keep the faith!
theyre not far off. just gotta find a qb thats what held michigan back for years.
Hell, I remember the last 2 they won. The Miami upset was especially delicious.
They won it in 1994 but.. well.. lol

Go to a Country where that is great. I'll buy ya a ticket.
Love when burr comes on the show 😂
Bill Burr always have a great take. His comment on sports journalism is spot on - it exists to create conflict and clicks.
The ND OSU comparison is ON POINT
Bill Burr is a god damn legend. Go Blue!
I wouldn't dislike Ohio State as much (even as a Michigan alum) if they didn't refer to themselves as "THE" Ohio State University. That's ridiculous and pretentious.
They have had that name since 1878 and re-emphasized it later on to avoid confusion with the other OSU colleges around the country.
Exactly

Bills the man. Bummed for my Huskies but congrats to Michigan. They were a great team. We'll see them for the next decade.
