This franchise is mostly renowned for its story and voice acting, but I think the action sequences are also worthy of praise. No matter how you approach them, the fights always manage to generate some great cinematic moments-- like when you threw a brick to get a zambie's attention and got four for the price of one. Thanks as always for taking care of my weekend entertainment needs!
41:41 like gandalf inside moria 52:32 it was at this moment she knew... she f***ed up Once again, really fun playthrough, very entertaining. Just one advice, you can also throw bricks or bottles at enemies to stun them, and chain with a death blow, or escape
I think that all the "Empty Drawers" are for more resources in easy mode. / 1:32:18, This was one of the last PS3 games! Then it got ported to PS4. / Earlier in the game (this episode) Joel gives Ellie a look while leaving the city, Tess said something about she understands, but get moving. The statement at 1:34:45, they had enough of a "relationship". This tells me that they are close enough/mean something to each other. So at one point the subject came up, about Joel's daughter. Played it once, but this is my 2nd watch (3 total), that I'm picking up on the small things.
That was really fun. Some sections went so much smoother for you than for a lot of other players. So much so that some other players might be envious. You are just a little more careful and thoughtful than most other players and it makes a huge difference. Some good examples are like when you killed 5 or 6 clickers with the molotovs that you had very recently acquired. You seem to like using throwables. That's a tendency that will likely help you a lot throughout the game. Another good example is how surgically you killed all the soldiers in the Capitol building. All you did was move thoughtfully and carefully, and try different weapons. It doesn't SEEM all that different from what other players do, but it made a really huge difference. If a player doesn't move carefully and loses track of where their enemies are, that section can turn into a chaotic, stressful nightmare for some players. It's going to be really fun to see how you approach the coming sections of game.
Jackie I must say that attack you did on the Clickers and runners was Suburb and you did on your first try , on my first playthrough that section it took me at least 10 tries those naughty clickers kept jolly getting me , Jackie you are a True Viking Odin is Happy 😊
Well, there goes Tess 🙃 It's a shame that we say goodbye to her so soon, especially having been such a reliable character who seemed to have everything under control, but I also think that gives a stronger sense of consequence to the story; after all, in a world as cruel as this game's, the virtuous, the strong, and even the bad guys are all in the same danger all the time, and in the end, all that remains is the human drama, the stories of what could have been, and the small moments of hope and color like those brought by a new dawn (1:30:18). Again, I've never played this game before, but I think I can see why this story resonated with so many people back in the day. Thank you for this episode, Jackie :) P.S. Jackie! I hope you had the best birthday ever 🥳 that you ate lots of cake 🎂 had a great time with your loved ones (and your bunnies 🐰🐰), and that school went great 👍 (this last thing sounds so much simpler, I know, but apparently we won't get rid of it even at the end of the world, so let's keep the bar low 🤷♂ 5:03 ).
You're killing it so far, Jackie! Conserving resources is great sure, but honestly I think it's less about HOW you get through the encounter and more just SURVIVING the encounter, which you did, every time! IMO its more fun anyway when stealth fails and you have to scramble and fight for your life. Very well played!
i dont tink joel was thinkin bout loosing hope i think it was she reminds him of his daughter n he doesnt wanna lose her all over again thts y tess said i get it then the camera panned bk to a sad lookin joel feel me. The clickers hear u walk-in even when crouched by the way. U have to move super slow . Or a trick I learned u can crawl without tryn to move the analog stick slow n they won’t hear u . Good video tho G! Ps. Tess knew he had a daughter
Just stumbled across your channel. You're quite an enjoyable player to watch, so I hope you continue making content and that you have success doing so. Most importantly though, continue having fun! Best of luck. 😊👍
Stealth save your bullets and craft and keep everything made up as you go you open a shiv door you will break a shiv to do it make another up to replace it.
I really liked Tess. Sad she had to go out like that. Hey, if you like post-apocalyptic games, did you ever play the Telltale Walking Dead series? Or would you be interested in checking it out someday?
@@jackieelin you're a tad bit louder than the game audio on my tv speakers but it's not unwatchable. I put on headphones and I can barely tell the difference.
@@jackieelin As an extra reference, in my case I didn't have any problem using headphones, although maybe that feeling of low volume also has to do with the depth of the sounds and the ambience of the game, but who knows. In any case, I think it's a very useful observation 👍
That was a long stormy night! It’s going to be interesting to see Joel and Ellie’s relationship evolve, I’m sad that we had to leave Tess behind! 🤗

You're really good at this, I think you've only died once. I like the way you play, very smart. Hope you're having fun.
I just have to pop in to the comments to say...
I really love watching people play TLOU.

Enjoying the story so far. I had played up to this point in the past but never made it through because of bad performance on PC
51:52 Hey Jackie, soooo, Clickers or Lickers? 😂 they're both pretty horrifying 🌚 and they both can't see 😜

The actress that plays Tess in the game, passed away, last year in January from cancer
Woah that sucks...she was so young

I think it sounds fine? But I am sorry if it's not watchable if that's the case 🥺
@@jackieelin I'm still gonna watch babe 💕 maybe it's just me but it's totally fine.. I can manage
