Every note from the thaat need not be used in a raaga based on that thaat but there won't be any additional notes that are not in kalyan thaat. Tivra M and Ni are varjita swara in bhupali.

Yes bro.. there may be some problem to start with E base flute as the holes are so far from each other.. But you can start with E base flute if you feel confortable..

Sir there is little confusion that in kalyan thaat we use Tivra M... But here M is not used..pls suggest.
