Great sounds...Tough to play..!!...Brilliant video..!!..Thank you so much..!!..Amazing to think that people like Status Quo etc ...made so much money out of three EASY chords..!!!!
What an ominous ending to the wonderful storytelling aspect of this. The title is applied extensively, strictly, with a hard stop at: “you know what happened.” This is my new favorite channel.
I’ve been subscribed for a while but never really understood your videos-they were way over my head. I just figured one day they’d come in handy. So, of course when my uncle gave me his old copy of Modern Chord Progressions, I knew exactly where to start. If your videos hadn’t been showing up in my recommended, that book probably would’ve just sat on a shelf after I glanced at page 15. Instead, I’m finally diving into solo guitar. Appreciate you making this stuff more digestible for someone like me-it’s been a total game-changer.
Always was a bit intimidated by Teds V-System, but this is a nice introduction. Thanks! Also, those stacked minor thirds in d ( 6:29 ) are exactly like the beginning of the track "Grass Skirt Chase" from the Spongebob Squarepants soundtrack xD
Thank you for another lesson! I appreciate Ted's thoroughness in mapping all of these out, but some of these voicings are just not practical 😅. Still good for fretboard knowledge. I have tiny fingertips and simply cannot do double stops with them like at 9:50, but I find these chords quite playable by having my middle and ring finger separately on the middle voices.
I think I only understand about 20% of what you’re ever talking about, but I HEAR the coolness in the sounds. I just wish I could get up to speed so I could at least follow what you’re saying. I’ll keep watching anyway. 😂

I appreciate the comment. Thanks for checking out my work!
When you start doing the inversions your hand starts going Alan Holdsworth look alike. But some of these chords are very usable. Great lesson
Thanks for the comment :-)
