Claire Jacobs She was filling in with extremely short notice-I remember finding out about Renee returning about 5ish hours before her first returning show. There was only so much they could do. Repurposing Lexi’s old Cleves costume was clever for the time limitations they had.
I don’t know anymore I don’t think it has anything to do with money TBH. It was a very last minute performance, and the costuming department take their job seriously (they’re gods and goddesses and I’ll take nothing less). If they had more time I’m more than sure that they would have made a full costume for her. There’s only so much you can do on limited time.
Since the alternates cover so many parts it's hard to replicate costumes for all of them in different sizes and stuff so they all have 1 custom costume
