these are mainly designed for northern/eastern Europe where most buildings are concrete, thus by having a concrete anchor it gives it the support it needs as opposed to drilling into a stud.

Thanks dude. All the other people are using drywall anchors. This holds 3x the weight!
Shane B yea I can't stand that. Anchors are good for lightweight pictures and that's about it

Shane B yes personally any scemrews with a good bit will work. I think I used a screw called a headgehog.

Yes it's a shelf it can hold books as long as you have bookends to keep them from falling
