  • Skydiving operations near Montreal.
Lourdes-de-Joliette aerodrome (CSE3) is operated by École De Parachutisme Voltige, a skydiving aerodrome located 60km North-East of downtown Montreal.
Voltige Parachutisme operates a Cessna 208 and a leased DHC-6 Twin Otter during the busier summer months.
They use this gravel airstrip throughout the summer months, jumping many times throughout the day. This is my 2nd visit to this aerodrome.
There are three (that I know of) skydiving aerodromes located near Montreal, the other 2 are operated by Parachute Montreal.

Great video, itr brought memories of when I was based at CFB Trenton in the 80s and the Skyhawks jump team were looking for volunteers, they didn't have to have their Airborne wings, but be jump qualified, one of the Aero Engine Tech did skydiving ong the weekends and had over 1,500 jumps, so he put his name in and went with the Skyhawks for 6 months, it was usually a 2-year posting, when he came back we asked him and he told the para guys weren't happy with him because he had more sky diving jumps than they did and knew about sky diving than even their Senior NCOs did, so they retuned him to his unit.

Very nice shots on a beautiful day. Looks like a first class operation, safety minded. Two of the really great planes for this kind of work. Saw 2 Challengers at ZBM; one was owned by MANGO , fashion company (from Spain ?) Any air shows around here that you are aware of for this summer ?
