Hey Ben! Great job explaining things as always. That attachment looks to be one of the best I’ve seen. Heckuva work horse. It’s all about the hydraulics you have available too. Anyway I saw nobody had commented so just wanted to let ya know you’re doin a great job! These vids like this are welcome too. A day in the life kinda thing.
Great video, thanks for sharing!
Hi! Great video!
How deep will that particular back hoe dig?
About 7 and a half feet is what the specs say. I have never really measured, but I have been able to dig stumps out with no issues.
Nice video, will this fit my 2012 kioti dk40se??? Also how's the tractor it self holding up welds ect? Thanks alot
I am not sure about fitment. My ask a dealer to make sure. My tractor is holding up great. I have dug up several stumps and moved over 100 ton of dirt. I have no complaints on build quality.
Thank you for sharing… this is what I’ve been looking for… as I’m thinking about a Kioti DK Cab Tractor. Right now I have a John Deere 3046r Cab Tractor with a 375a backhoe…. The backhoe is a step smaller than yours…. The Backhoe itself has plenty of reach and power…. Then only thing I don’t like about mine is the SWING is erratic. I have a lot of slop in my swing, and it is pretty weak compared to the Boom, Dipper and Bucket Cylinders. I also wish my stabilizer cylinders were a bit beefier too…. So my question is… does your swing system have enough power to backfill holes? And does your backhoe swagger much each time you use your swing? When mine is stretched out to full reach… I can just hit the L/R lever… and it will sway back and forth about 10” or more, and Have to go slow again for it to calm down before I can reposition. And yes… I’m a very experienced backhoe operator… grew up using Case 580B, 580C, 580D, 580E, & 580K, 580L, 580N backhoes…. Along with John Deere 310’s and 410’s…
If you push and swing in small bites, it will absolutely fill a hole or knock the top of a pile. It is not a "backhoe" like some people think they are. For a tractor attachment I am really happy with it's capabilities.
One thing tho. Don’t work those levers from the ground! It’s not worth it buddy. The wife and kids probably like having you around in good condition!! A little mother henning there.
