Lovely and quiet! No people at all! How was the snow? Did you choose tis place on purpose for so late in the season? Will you be going anywhere next?

That´s La Tzoumaz on Verbier.. always much quieter and always great to get away from the crowds.. a bit tricky on the Bottom . Could by Icy because that side of the Valley is on the shade on the afternoons...

I thought I'd finish off the 4 Vallees this season and yes, I continued to ski in other places... videos to come, stay tuned :-)

BTW, the snow was good that day. At the moment it's great in the morning and awful in the afternoon...

@@ChasingSnow ah thanks very much. Look forward to next videos! I’ve been skiing 8 times in 2024 but still I need to watch every day to help with my withdrawals.

I used to wonder where that gondola would take you from the last time you were there. Thanks for showing what that sweet little corner of the resort looks like. BTW, just FYI I can't go to Glide & Slide on Tuesday to enquire about skis, as it'd be shut, so I'm going on Wed. Just as well I checked, or it'd be a wasted trip.

Some good intermediate skiing here if you want to escape the crowds in Verbier. Good luck with your ski hunting :-)

It wasn't this video, but others of yours in Switzerland, that have convinced me I need to live long enough and get healthy enough to ski in Switzerland. I have finally finished the book I was working on. A ten year grind that almost saw me out a couple of times. But now I can concentrate on other things. Vicariously skiing with (as) you this past couple of years has helped prop me up. Thanks. By the way, on that second run, the sound the skis were making on the snow around 1900 meters was strange. It was crusty I imagine, but it made a popping rather than scratchy sound. Think slush.

Hey Barry, I'm glad the scenery in the videos has helped inspire you to finish your book. Ten years is a long time, I didn't realise you were at it for that long. Was it the ending you needed to finish? How did it end?
