Use to work for Lifetouch for 3 years before they got bought. Had some good days and really bad days. I stayed for the people but once they started getting fired or quitting, I had to leave. There is A LOT of physical labor. EARLY mornings, LONG drives, LONG DAYS, STRESSFUL days, lack of COMMUNICATION. This job will really test your patience. Really rude students sometimes especially in the middle school and high school level. You WILL bring your gear everywhere. Get ready to work some weekends too. Overall I am glad I did this job. The people I met and memories I made with them were great, but it just started to get bad near the end.
I used to work for Lifetouch, sometimes I miss it, and then sometimes I remember sometimes having to lug all of that equipment up 4 flights of stairs, especially in older schools that did not have elevators.
@@WiseAssGamer Yep we had less, but we carried the heavier stuff. Withy stint with Lifetouch, we carried collapsible 3 tiered risers. Bringing those up and down stairs, wa as no picnic.
I plan on showing this video to my SPED preschool class prior to their Lifetouch School Pictures tomorrow. I think this will help show them what to expect, and to reduce anxiety. THANK YOU for making this video!!
I discourage anyone from working here. They use you until you find out how shitty the job actually is. No room for career growth or opportunity. If you are a straight white male under the age of 30 I wouldn’t even try based on all the sexism and gender discrimination I have dealt with. Management doesn’t give a shit about how their employees feel. It’s all a bottom line business. I’ve made more money from lifetouch due to labor disputes than I have actually working real hours. Think about that one before you apply.
Working here in Kansas City, Mo. Would love to see more videos of Posing, and techniques for catching the perfect smile on elementary schools, maybe even special need schools:) MORE VIDEOS please!!!
WOW! I love it! I want to belong to such an excellent work team to learn and share my knowledge with you, I always have fun taking pictures. Thumbs up and subscribe to your channel.
my wife and I just got ripped off by lifetouch photos back in 2019/2020 we had extra photos taken when the company was doing photos for a church directory we thought we could give photos for Christmas to our family we put a 200$ down then covit hit we could not contact anyone at the company until now and they refuse to give us a refund or our photo telling us that part of their business was shut down and they will not be returning money or our photo's
i remembered ordering the $38 pack last year and 2 years ago and it never came, also i think it was because they lost my first set of pictures and asked for me to take another one without putting the money for that package so... (good thing i asked if they put it in but they literally said, "oops, oh yeah i forgot).
I was supposed to work out like touch because it was supposed to be a click so I was too scared. Because I got my old picture taken so at Central school. I just supposed to get my picture taken.
Altogether the equipment is very heavy but each bag weighs less than 40 pounds I think. and you're never lifting the whole thing all at once, you've got a cart. Although it can be tricky to navigate at times.

I wonder how they can call it a "career" with Lifetouch when they only pay their photographers $14.50/hour???
And treat their employees like shit based on race sex and religion and not work performance attendance or school satisfaction
Word of advice: run.
