As a former 1st grade teacher and mother of a soon to be 2nd grader and another going into Kindergarten…I can tell you that between the ages of 5-8 kiddos really start to recognize the difference between themselves and others (mostly boys vs. girls). They are starting to understand that their body is their business and no one else’s. They also start to instinctively become more private about their bodies because of that. I am sure it has more to do with that than body image issues. You are doing a great job raising a strong, confident girl!
Also, I think the dresses look super cute and comfy. From an outside perspective that is.

You're the best! (We just got back from our trip so I'm catching up) But I wore the dress and Story wanted to wear her 2 piece to the pool everyday. You never know what to expect with her sometimes lol

My vet recommended purina pro plan fortiflora probiotics. She said the problems could be simply an angry gut and suggested trying that before spending a ton of money trying to diagnose. It’s a powder packet that goes on kitties food. It really helped with the vomiting after eating and they don’t complain to me nearly as often, and we haven’t had to go back to the vet. You can get it OTC through Chewy.

Thank you for this! 🙌🏼 I’m going to actually write this down in case we need to try something else. The drops we started seem to be working at the moment. She has stopped licking her fur off her belly finally and she’s not throwing her food up anymore so at least there’s that. It can be so tricky to figure out what’s going on. I wish they could talk 😂
