@@user-xh1in7hv2f sorry im late but, "earthly comfort" = something that can be present in front of him, and that provides comfort. next line, "yet so divine, yet so divine" plays off the idea that earthly and divine are kind of opposing ideas, something can only be one or the other, since something that is divine is something that is "beyond" this earth in a way, so for a religious person their god or deity is a divine force as opposed to an earthly force. so the lines serve as extreme praise for someone, that they're so amazing that they're divine/heavenly, so amazing that its hard to believe they could be on this earth. I'm tired so this may be convoluted

In my opinion Jojis best album. I love his new shit. But idk man. This "romantic garbage" shit that he was doing on chloe burbank was so unique and you can't really hear that kind of sound anywhere else. A lot of his new stuff just has so much of a mainstream sound to It. Which again I'm not saying I don't like his new music. This was just my favorite.
I think you're right. The NeedleDrop put it right, George's older stuff was definitely him trying to do a lot with a little. Now there isn't much incentive to put the work in to "make it". There's a good chance he was always just trying to get a big break and now that he has, we won't be seeing that raw indie stuff anymore.
