I been into metal for quite a long time. And I like reaction videos. I feel like you two are really the only good/entertaining reactioners. I appreciate you guys and keep up the good work. Also wage war has been absolutely crushing it their entire careers in my opinion and they’re only getting better
I liked Nail5, but it felt like Manic part 2. Magnetic is a solid "octane core" song, but wasn't really for me. This one was my favorite of the 3 mainly because of the Pantera/Slayer style riffage. The Wyatt Earp call-out was sick too
This was different then what I was expecting, but they really put some work into this track. There are so many varied elements, it definitely makes a very audially interesting song. Going to have to listen to it some more, this one caught me off-guard lol That being said, they did a great job bringing it together
2024 is relentless with everyone stepping their game up. Highly recommend y’all to check Dominant Predation - Get the Shot ft Paleface Swiss for some beat down shenanigans
I don't think people understand this very fundamental aspect of Wage War: Cody, the main songwriter, is a riff machine. He could create the filthiest metalcore album of all time if thats what he put his mind to. But I think he gets more inspired now at album 5 by the music they listen to on the road vs the heavy stuff they are 'meant' to sound like. I also think he's drawn toward melodies more now that in early albums.
Wage War is my favorite modern metal band and very close to my favorite metal band of all time, right behind Linkin park. I can’t wait for this damn album! Manic was fantastic front to back
Wage war is the best. Cody is the GOAT. All 3 singles rocked in their own way. They’ve all improved as musicians. I’m honestly tired of the hate wage war gets because to me they’re an S tier metalcore band.
To me the singles released so far have been okay but not great. The last album manic was just one of the best albums released in the last few years that I think my expectations for this album were through the roof. These songs aren’t bad and I’m sure will grow on me but props to wage war they can make great songs in the genre and have them sound different from each other. For example the last album you had an acoustic song then you got some heavy catchy songs with the poppy chorus and then you have a song or two on the album that is just a breakdown the whole time love this band and I think just based off how absolutely insane manic was my expectations are unfair for there new work
Blueprints is still their best album for me. I'm not a super big fan of the new industrial sound they have had since manic (even though I quite liked that album). But there are a lot of things that just don't do it for me from them anymore and thats okay. I still have Blueprints, and pressure on disc and vinyl!
I like the new stuff, but I don't like it as much as the last record, Manic, nothing on this new album minus Magnetic has grabbed me like the other tracks off of Manic.
People will always find ways to hate on these guys. Bands evolve, it’s normal. I’ve loved this band since Blueprints and I will continue to do so.
"OH FUCKING STOP IT"
Exactly what i said when i heard that gutteral hahaha
I approve. This song is fire. Heavy, groovy af, top shelf guitar work. What else could I ask for.
The bromance is strong with these two 😆
Them pinch harmonics, ooooffft

Really appreciate this dude, thank you
Had the pleasure of hearing this Early at a VIP show and dude the crowd reaction when we all heard it was INSANE. Stoked for the album!

That second pause was highly illegal

Love the ABR shirt, just seen them live last week and it was an amazing show.
That riff at 6:33 is sick

I like the last guitar part of this song. Definitely gives the Slayer vibe.
'quote they literally said in the video'
Love the Spite style groovy riffs. This song gave me hope for their upcoming album. The first two singles were very disappointing to me.

THRICE REASONS! 🤦♂️
I take it back
