The aether is just an expansion pack really. Normally I only install mods to improve the vanilla feel to the game and not add new stuff to it.... but with aether I make an acception
I had no idea this was happening and because i never even touched pc minecraft till 2013 this excites me because i'll be able to experience what many others did over a decade ago.
very good video, tho im kinda sad that you didn't point out the updated textures for the mod a few things to note here: the bosses are actually easier than their b1.7.3 counterparts, the slider was stupidly fast and only experienced pvp players could deal with it easily, now it has less health and less speed, it is still challenging though it now tests how ready you are in terms of progression rather than skill. the aether team is also working on porting to fabric, and i'm incredibly excited!
@@PaladinRyan Your real issue was eating garbage food, those gingerbread cookies have no saturation. The better the food source the less you have to constantly lose time nomming in combat and the more your character can passively heal. Returning with golden carrots/melons/apples or even just steak and trying again will be a huge decrease in frustration.

Considering how less well known Aether II is to the general public, I would suggest to the Aether team to retroactively add all the things from Aether II into the first and label it Aether 1.5 as a way to combine the two together. If anyone from the Aether team reads this, it's so you don't have an Everquest problem. Plus, it means a bigger and better mod as well. And hey, with something like Aether 1.5 being a thing Mojang and Kingbdogz won't be able to ignore it for much longer. Especially with copycats apparently popping up in the Bedrock marketplace.
We'll be doing an addon for this Aether remaster that ports a lot of features from the 1.7 version of Aether II, and future versions of Aether II will also be made more compatible with the original mod. So yeah if you want "Aether 1.5" you'll be able to download an addon to basically achieve that once it's released. The addon will be titled Aether Genesis and should release some time this year

Hi Ryan, damn 10 years ??? I remember watching my favorite RUclipsr venom extreme playing I feel old, I was so impressed by this mod when I was a kid, and obviously I tried to build the aether portal
They actually had made a few versions for stuff like Fabric 1.14, but they've buried it since, because it was UNBELIEVABLY buggy. Trees in the overworld would immediately and constantly lose their leaves, upon other bugs.

I loved the aether, back when yogscast, captensparkles, popular mmo, and all the un named small youtubers we watched as kids and forgot there names. I miss it all so so much... it was truly a core memory and I'm so glad to see it return.
