Your skin looks amazing & 440 is definitely the better match! I have the foundation and the foundation brush their truly the dynamic duo. And the power I’ve been applying with beauty blender powder pocket puff, I love the results. ❤

Hey girl hey. Thanks for the review 💜 440 looks great on you and we normally wear similar shades in complexion products (you wear Macao and I wear Caracas in Nars) I’m going this week to Sephora to pick up a sample of it. Now I’m curious if I need to try the powder too
I think both could work! But 440 has roughly the same undertone as Macao so you might prefer it. It’s like 470 is a summer shade 🤷🏾♀️The setting powder is not as drying as the other ones I have so I really like it! If you’re not looking for a new one, I would skip it!

This was me trying to figure out which shade works for me 😂 I end up getting the less red shade and have to return it because I start looking casket ready throughout the day once it sets in.
Omg your makeup looks so amazing!! I think the setting powder would work better and last longer for you if you set it with a powder brush. I’ve seen people having a hard time with the sponge application because not enough comes out. I love this foundation shade on you!! It’s perfect!

Hi, when you swatched the shades I was like they are so close. However, the one you chose looks great. Do you like the fashion fair powder. I find the Laura M. Is sometimes drying for me depending upon the season
They are, right! One is my winter shade and the other is my summer shade. I like using the FF whenever I want a matte look. The setting powder will smooth and remove any type of dewiness/glow. I wouldn’t use it if you’re worried about dry spot/skin. Maybe consider trying this one from Haus labs, it’s the least drying powder I have, the next one would be NARS. I hope that helps!

Yes, I think so too. I could even use it if I wanted to match with my beck instead of my face. Just glad I have the option ☺️
thanks for the review! I usually wait for your's since we are shade twins. but this one really has me confused. I purchased two samples. 460 and 450...and they both work. but I think 460 may be a little darker (more like my summer tan skin) so i was leaning towards 450 (both have warm undertones). but then after seeing you in 440 I wonder if I need to try that too! these shades have me confused! I literally think several shades would work which is a good thing right? then on the other hand the shades may just be very similar
It’s a great thing so many shades work for us. I usually struggle to find a good golden undertone. Maybe try using the shade finder on the Sephora website, it gave me the two options I selected. If you’re my shade twin and Macao from Nars works for you, then 440 is very similar.
My search has ended as far as finding my true shade. I tried the wheel twice and they came back with 440 and 470. I chose ordered 440 and I’m glad I did. I tried a sample at Sephora before I picked it up and 440 was perfect. Maybe I’ll get 470 for the summer. What threw me off when taking the shade test is I was placed in the cool category. I do not have any foundations that are in the cool range. All are neutral. Interesting 🤔 Great review and your look is amazing! 😊

Yes!!! 🙌🏾 I don’t know why it seems to be hard to find ladies that are my same shade but when I saw we were I subscribed immediately. I love this foundation. It’s the perfect shade and perfect coverage (I like a more light to med coverage). I gave in to another setting powder so I refuse to buy another setting powder one. I used the Nars light reflecting powder and I think I have the perfect formula.
Looks really good. I tried this weekend, came back home and was like wow, I look good 😌 ordering it today. Will try the danessa blurring palm. What would you recommend for the oily T-zone? I have the same issue
I love it too! It reminds me of the NARS natural radiant. My skin is dry so I make sure my skincare is hydrating. I also use the DM primer and set my makeup with the CT setting powder. I know some people use a mattifying primer just for their T-zone, maybe try that and see. If you want a powder that’s a little more mattifying, try the fashion fair ( it sets and keep you face smooth ). I hope that helps!

It looks beautiful on you. I went on the site and I choose the 440 for me but when I took the test to choose the shade it said 470 so I guess I need to go up to Sephora. By the way do they still sell Fashion Fair it was my favorite back it the day but I could no longer find it. I love that setting power too. Just enough brightness without the owl look. Also I love your eyebrows they look natural not so bushy. Thank you for this video. I'm glad that I found your channel because I have a similar complexion and undertone as you and I always have trouble finding a match for foundation, I'm usually a combination of two and I refuse to mix colors. Update, I went in and indeed I am an exact 440.

The Danessa Myricks loose powders have a similar cloth sifter which I find interesting. Don’t tell anyone but I usually cut it out 😂🙈😩

On the Sephora website it says I can use a fluffy brush or sponge.
