Hi. My husband is Bullet-Proof! He worked for Hasbro and they asked if they could make the character after him. He named the figure Bullet-Proof after his favorite character in the toy line, Cops, aka “Bullet-Proof Vess.” Earl is a former Marine and the only thing he did not have control over was the storyline.
When I saw "Bulletproof" in the title, my first thought was BP Vess from C.O.P.S. I got a little hyped, as C.O.P.S. was one of my favorite shows as a kid, and literally the reason I grew up to go into law enforcement myself. Still, having always had a mind for law enforcement as a kid, my favorite toys growing up were emergency service themed. Chief among them being Prowl, Red Alert, and the Protectobots from Transformers, the C.O.P.S. toyline, and many fire, medical, and police Joe characters, including all of the original DEF members. I never did get the Shark 9000 though.
Awesome video on Bullet Proof Jesse! Thank you! I am also a graduate of FLETC. Artesia, NM. DOD/DON Police Officer. Your videos rock. Would like to see video's on Kamakura/Throw Down and Wraith. Keep em coming!
Can you do all the “Ninja Force” please? - tjbang, slice & dice, dojo, etc. Those came out as figures during my last days of collecting GI Joes and I never got backstories on these cats as much as I would’ve liked or as much as you provide on your channel. Thanks for all the hard work and thanks again for the mega Dreadnok video!
I used to have Battle Corps Bullet Proof when I was a kid growing up! I lost his helmet in the playground rocks at my Daycare center growing up and later on I got rid of him with all my original G.I.Joe toys.
A good character. While his figure was intended for a specific scenario, his skills weren't so specialized that he couldn't be intergrated into mainstream Joe vs Cobra stuff.Though it didn't have legs, it was a noble effort on HASBRO's part to try marketing anti-drug action figures. Ironic that some criticized the DEF line for being too connected to real-world problems/politics; but later the Mega-Marines and their alien adversaries were considered too unrealistic.
Please do videos for all the various COBRA divisions like the Tele-Vipers, Eels, BATs, Vipers and so forth discribing each group as if they are one person, which they are in a way because each member has the same training and background For instance, the Crimson Guardsmen are all lawyers and more valuable off the battlefield than on
Who the hell is he? G.I.Joe remained legends in the 80's not the 90's. Stopped collecting then. You still got steeler, cluth, grunt, spark, tollbooth and mainframe to do. That's all I can remember for now 👍

I hope the next G.I. Joe character you do a video on is Budo because i would love for you to cover him on your channel.
I do have the v1 of Bulletproof. It's my favorite of the later series of figures. Please do videos for Mainframe, and Airtight.
As always impressed with the amount of detail you squeeze into this video
Thank you!
I have that figure! He's awesome.

I didn’t know you went through FLETC too very cool - I added your suggestions to my list!
I just found out he's based on a real person who worked for Hasbro.
Hoping for nunchuk and throwdown/kamakura still! Great video!

I definitely will! Thanks for the suggestion 😎
Very interesting
Are we just going to ignore the panel where BP says they left a machine gun with the kid? Real pros these guys 😅
I've never heard of bulletproof & I'm a big fan of G. I.Joe

Jessie you should do a who’s who of the cops cartoon. Just for nostalgia sake.
That’s a great idea
THE HEADMAN REIGNS SUPREME!!!!
But seriously, Headman video when?

They are definitely on the way!
@@JLSComics and Heavy-duty if you didn't get him already 👍
I liked the DEF, even knowing now how ridiculous it and Nancy Regan were lol. Child of the 80’s and thoroughly brainwashed.
Bullet-proof is very cool and I don't do drugs. 😀👍
not Uncle Ben, that's for sure
Next guy scoop or heavy duty
That version of Mutt was blasphemous
Who is Dial Tone?
3:39 Probably because they never really aim, just spray and pray
