    Inauguration of Poshan bhi Padhai bhi Training Programme for Anganwadi Workers
    Sopore, [25th /26th Nov,2024]: The Zonal Education Office, Sopore, in collaboration with the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme, today inaugurated the "Poshan bhi Padhai bhi" training programme for Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) at Dak Bangalow Sopore.
    The programme aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of AWWs in providing holistic development services to children, including nutrition, education, and health.
    Mr Mohsin Mushtaq CDPO Sopore and Mr Abdul Salam Dar, Zonal Education Officer Sopore*, in presiding presence of *Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore, Mr Shabir Ahmad Raina inaugurated the programme, emphasizing the importance of early childhood education and nutrition in shaping the future of children.
    Ms Sufeena Bano from Edu Sopore hosted the day as vibrant anchor with great expertise of "Education along with Nutrition" on inaugural day and then deliberated the effective training with great ferver and deepth knowledge ; and meanwhile gained the appreciations and good feedback from the attendees.
    *Mr Mohsin Mushtaq, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO)*, highlighted the objectives of the programme and the role of AWWs in implementing the "Poshan bhi Padhai bhi" initiative.
    Zonal Education Officer, Sopore, Mr Abdul Salam Dar highlighted the essence of the training and motivated the attendees to pull themselves up for execution of the mission.While as Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore Mr Shabir Ahmad Raina unvieled the contours of roadmap for imparting this training and ensured that they would assist and support in all possible way in this noble initiative.
    The training programme will cover topics such as early childhood education, nutrition, health, and safety, and will equip AWWs with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide quality services to children.
    The programme is expected to benefit 208 AWWs from Anganwadi centers across the Sopore zone.
    We all are committed to providing quality education and nutrition services to children, and this programme is a significant step in that direction.
